I just got the xlarge females for $109 a dozen. I highly disappointed. They are absolutely hollow and most of my claws a gone. They were mediums at best. I would be embarrassed to sell these to customers. I thought it was a cruel joke..but I’m not amused. You are better off going to Nicks farm and crab on SW Blvd. Or Conrad’s Parkville. You will never be disappointed again.

Was very disappointed in the steam crabs I purchased yesterday. Ordered one dozen female regular crabs. Didn’t receive one dozen. I purchase crabs at least once a week from different places and have heard how great their crabs are. I was not impressed with the taste or the size.

The customer service was very good. The establishment itself is clean and welcoming. However, the food was subpar. The “large” male crabs were more like medium females. The steamed shrimp tasted very rubbery as if it was cooked too long, and on top of that, it wasn’t seasoned enough. They also do not clean their shrimp. I have a habit of splitting my shrimp down the back to see if it’s been cleaned, they were all full of shrimp poo. 3 stars is generous, I didn’t want to go lower because the staff is nice and does their job properly, at least at the from desk from what I could see. I paid $95 for 1 dozen large males and an order of large shrimp. The quality was worth $60 for everything, at best. I won’t be returning.

Got a dozen XL males and a couple pounds of shrimp. Everything was delicious! I’m not sure what these recent 1-star reviews are about, maybe bad luck? Our crabs were heavy and cooked perfectly.

I will not review the food because of the nasty attitude from the child working behind the counter. At a $100 + for a dozen of crabs and a ride all the way from Philly the last thing anyone wants is a nasty attitude. Thank goodness. We got the total opposite from. Hard Shell crab and Seafood. 15 min away.

I have eaten many many crabs in my life and I will say these are the absolute worse by far! I ordered 1 dozen large females for $70 and 2 ears of corn. I never would imagine that they would be cold, dry, very mushy, most of legs were missing from the shell, they were so light weight I couldn’t believe my eyes!! They felt empty! The corn was even the worse and I didn’t think corn can be bad like that. It seemed like these were old returned crabs they swapped and tried to recook and it failed. To charge $70 for the quality of the crabs they gave me was absolutely despicable for business! I called to report my concern and ask for a refund, and the manager who said her name was “Melissa” told me that they do not give refunds. They only can give store credit or cook another batch. I told her I did not see that on my receipt nor was I told that cause most establishments let you know upon purchase. Of course, after tasting these bad crabs, I do not want anything else from them. It’s a safety hazard in my opinion. Customer service was below par and she just didn’t seem to care which makes dealing with them even worse. I refuse to pay $70 for the bad quality I received and it’s not fair that I have no choice with reconciliation with them. I will dispute this cause it’s wrong and I didn’t get what I paid for at all! It’s also an inconvenience to a customer. There was not one apology or concern – just a lack of everything which is disheartening!! There should always be a quality check when you are charging the amount you are charging. These were not large, they were mixed smalls. And they were bad crabs which is why after a few, I realized that they were too bad to consume as I didn’t want to get sick. Nothing was fresh about them. They looked very dark and diseased. They are crabs that you don’t sell and throw away. There’s no way that they didn’t know that they were selling bad crabs. Especially if they made sure that they counted exactly 12 crabs – you definitely had to see the sizes and weight when sorting this. BEWARE of dealing with them please! EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! Places like Kent Island Crabs are good choices and ensure that you receive quality and consistently. This company seems to be a hit or miss and a risk. First and last time trying this place. Plus they can’t guarantee there quality which you are at risk of losing money cause they say they don’t do refunds. It should be clear communication and on the receipt if you don’t back your crabs up. NEVER AGAIN! These crabs do not even deserve a 1 star!!!!!

This was an absolute delight today. The place was clean,with a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. We had lottery games and keno to entertain while waiting on this freshly steamed order. Menu was clear with the updated specials and pricing, all neatly laid out. Crabs, with a Snowball stand next door, what more could you ask for on a warm Maryland summer day!

This is a standard maryland crab shack with more. The crabs were ready when expected and were big and meaty. One and half dozen and all were great. Not a mealy one in the bunch! Shrimp were steamed well. Having a baltimore snowball stand next door just is icing on the cake.
