enjoyed the Ceviche classico, which was shared amongst the table and was still too much for us. Portion sizes here are super generous.
The bad: Food came out a little slow, but at least we had the ceviche come quick and free bread. The Paella didn’t have any crispy rice around the edges and I didn’t like that they added pieces of chicken, which was pretty dry. Other than that, it was pretty flavorful and I did enjoy it. The real bad is that for whatever reason, they were blasting the heat near our table and it became unbearable. I had to step out and get some fresh air towards the end of my meal cause I felt incredibly stuffy and suffocated. To be fair, I should’ve told a waiter, but it
Our waiter this time was Franklin. The young man is a rock star! EVERY waiter / waitress should be a Franklin!!! He was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, perfect amount of attention, and has a great personality.
We paid $50-$60 per person, BUT we had two cocktails each, Calamari app, two steak entrees, and two desserts.
Los Andes knows what they’re doing!!!
They have valet which we did not do, we chose to park a 2 min walk down the road in the hospital parking lot. Otherwise you have street parking to choose from.
We made reservations here for opening time at 4pm and we weren’t the only ones, they let you sit on a nice couch and wait until your called to be seated to your table.
We sat out by the courtyard area and the inside of the restaurant is gorgeous!
We’ve never had Peruvian food before so we just picked some apps and chose what looked good for our main meals and we were not disappointed! We split 3 different empanadas, the short rib and the rice one were our favorite.
I tried the Pumpkin Martini and it was very good!!
Main meals I got he Los Andes which came with chicken and kielbasa and veggies it was amazing! My husband got the dish with chicken and rice with an egg on top, for the price you get very large meals which we loved!
I got the passion fruit cheesecake to go because I was so full lol, I tried some once I got to the car and it was delicious!
I also put on our online reservation it was our anniversary and even though I got the cheesecake to go they still brought out a plate saying happy anniversary which was really thoughtful!
Our waitress was also very nice and constantly there to help with any questions or requests we had. I also loved how often they came around to re fill your waters!
Overall we had a great experience and cant wait to come back!
Food was subpar for the price- portion size is good but flavor was lacking. Food was mid. I had pork shank meat was soft and well cooked. But other parts of the food were not that good. My friends paella was also not the best tasting. Tres leche was ok, not too sweet but also have had better. Wish the food was more flavorful as they have ambience , good staff and location but mid level tasting food! Probably won’t return for dinner cause it wasn’t cheap either
For one of our entrees, we got the Lomo Saltada. Simple, but flavorful. The other entree was a weekly special – fried steak that was crusted with ritz crackers over risotto. So good! Was hesitant at first but I’m glad I ordered it.
Food was delicious- went with the lomo saltado and the 903 tasting and everything was awesome. Lomo saltado- the tomatoes were my favorite part and delicious! 903 tasting was also really tasty.
If you’re looking for some high end Bolivian/Peruvian food, this is the spot.
