My sister, Surreal W. Smothers, and niece, Madison, brought for my belated birthday Brunch. I had French Onion Soup, Duck and Waffles, and Eggs. Everything was simply delicious. The service was excellent. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you!

This is (or was?) my favorite restaurant in all of Baltimore. The food here is consistently great. They removed the grilled foie gras from the menu, but had duck liver pate as an alternative which was still pretty good. My favorite is the duck fried rice, and you can never go wrong with the Escargot. I would rather have a baked Camembert instead of deep fried, but it was pretty good. Overall, I left with the feeling that they are making the menu more American and less French, and this breaks my heart.

The truly awful part of my latest visit was the service. The waiter had NO idea what he was doing. He missed part of the order and forgot about our drinks. Most of the evening he was MIA, and never cleared the table before bringing the next dishes or the bill.

A cozy little festive spot with some seriously fancy and delicious food! The prices were a bit high, but the quality was top notch and the servers definitely can point you in the right direction based on your preferences.

I really enjoyed the cocktail menu, and the burger and fried rice were both excellent. If you’re in downtown Baltimore and want something a bit fancy, you should definitely check this place out.

Very delicious food. We chose to go here for our last day of a short stay in Baltimore and we were not disappointed. The seats were fairly comfortable, although we had a booth table. On a Thursday evening it was not busy. My fiancée and I ordered appetizers and shared an entree, which I would do again. The flavors were excellent, especially on the duck confit, the steak tartare, and the escargot. I’d recommend the chocolate mousse for dessert. We also tried the pavlova. The latter was fun for the novelty, but I didn’t find the flavors to be too interesting (especially in comparison to everything else).

Portions were a little small, but we didn’t mind. The prices, I think, while high for the area, were below what we’ve seen in other cities for high quality French cuisine, so I have no doubt the restaurant has close margins here.

Service was quite attentive.

All in all, I recommend coming here. Maybe not the place if you’re starving and just want to stuff your face ; instead, you’ll enjoy dishes that make you feel like it’s fine dining. Our subtotal was around $100 for two people with three appetizers, an entree, and two desserts. Not bad at all for a date night!

We visited Duck Duck Goose last month, Easily the best duck I’ve ever had in Maryland. The potato was incredible too. The ambiance is beautiful & intimate when visiting I’d recommend making a reservation. We sat at the bar, the bartender was amazing and very knowledgeable about different spirits & flavor complexitys. Next time your looking for something in fells for a special occasion check them out.

I’ve had this place on my Baltimore bucket list since I was in grad school and could only dream of affording a place whose google page had $$$ on it.
This was absolutely magical. The food was delicious and the wait staff was very kind and attentive. I would recommend treating it like small plates and only getting the appetizers because the cost of the entrees to the quality wasn’t great. The small plates are where this place shines.
They were great with identifying foods with my allergens and brought out champagne for us after dinner to celebrate our special event!
Will definitely be going back.

Had a nice meal with friends at Duck Duck Goose in Baltimore. We had reservations and were seated in their outside back patio.
For apps we had the Beef Tartare and the French Onion Soup with Duck Confit. All delicious.
For dinner I had the Steak Frites Au Poivre, which come with fries cooked in duck fat. The steak was perfectly cooked and deliciously tender for a sirloin. The fries were perfection as well.
Others in my party had the duck bucatini as their main course- which is a thin spaghetti pasta with a rich duck ragout tomato sauce. That was very good but it would have needed to be larger for my main, but the ladies were happy with it for theirs. Having a side of black truffle mac and cheese for the table to share also helped.
Overall, it was a very good meal. Next time I will definitely try some of the more expensive dishes on the menu- which I steered away from on this occasion dining with friends.
Great location in the heart of Fells Point. Nice ambiance -the outside back patio was quiet and felt like we were inside. They have tables out front but those would have been pretty loud in Fells on a Saturday.
Service was just OK. Our server must have had several inside tables as she was not around much for drink refills and water.
I would not hesitate to recommend DDG for a date night or dinner out with friends.

I went here for the first time on my birthday and was extremely impressed by the quality of the food, drinks, and service. Everything from the French onion soup to duck confit was delicious and our waiter was extremely attentive and helpful in suggesting what to order. I can’t wait to go back as everything on the menu looked incredible. Wonderful place for a nice date night or celebratory dinner!

Lovely little French spot in Fells Point. Nice menu. Tried the French onion soup and a pasta with duck dish, I cannot remember the name along with the farmers salad. Everything was delish. Would of liked more duck in the pasta dish but it was still great and filling. No room for dessert. They had fun & yummy mock tails too. #dryjanuary

Came for Baltimores restaurant week. Everything was incredibly delicious. My favorite was the pear and cheese appetizer, such a great pairing! Loved the outdoor space, would be even better during the warm seasons. [Until next bite -K]
