We were wanting breakfast for dinner so we’re here giving them a try. I ordered Grandma’s Sampler, 2 scrambled eggs, 2 buttermilk pancakes, sausage patties, and fried apples. Wow, what a spread. The food came out hot and looked tasty. The pancakes are cooked perfectly. They’re a little thinner than normal but that’s good for me. I still have room for the proteins. My scrambled eggs are warm and fluffy. The sausage patties are what you expect. I was hoping for a zing of flavor. The fried apples look like a dessert so I saved them for last. The sliced apples are tender and they have a thick apple pie filling sauce of cinnamon, sugar, nutmeg and lemon juice. Darren was my server and he was friendly and attentive. The dining room is cozy but open. I enjoyed looking at the artifacts on the walls. This hit the spot. I’ll be coming back.

Quite possibly the worst online ordering experience. Cracker Barrel consistently cannot find my my account. I have to renter all my info and then it seems to remember me. Ordering online should be simple like logging in, ordering and picking up your food. But, this is not like every other restaurant, you have setup a new account or recover your account EVERY TIME!! Then when you arrive to pickup your food you’re supposed to use the “I’m here” from the email they send you. Problem is they NEVER send the email. Yup, you have to go inside and then they say to call and follow the prompts. So, you call and follow the prompts but NO ONE answers the phone. Eventually, you’ll have to figure out you have to go inside, stand in line with the folks paying their bill and let them know you’re here. Hands down the Cracker Barrel app wins for the WORST APP in the food ordering business. Pretty much useless and extremely frustrating!!

I had curbside order. I got an email notification saying my order will be ready at 10:35am. I didn’t get my order till after 11:40. I waited a little over an hour for my order because they forgot about me. I had to go inside and asked where my order was and they couldn’t give me an answer. The lady was very rude and said “there’s nothing we can do” when I asked her if I can talk to someone that can help me. Finally got my food after a few minutes and left. I love Cracker Barrel but this experience was the worst.

1st)Chicken and Dumplings was very good except there was only 1 piece of chicken broken into a few little pieces ? This was a dinner and the greenbeans were not good. We also ordered a ham slice sugar cured. We got 2 small thin breakfast slices and it was salty as ever not sugar cured. It was swimming in grease. Never had this happen before. I had to blot each piece and rinse them thoroughly in hot water to eat the it. There was grease pooling in the carryout container as well. Really unhappy that this happened. There needs to be a way to customize your order on line a little better or they need to answer their phone promptly to take an order. I’m not sure when we’ll be ordering again for take out. Time before last their greenbeans were almost mush, they had cooked so long. This is so sad because I really have enjoyed their food until lately.

Worst customer service experience I’ve had in this country. I live very close to this store, and I really like the food, ingredients, quality, and value. I’ve been a regular since I bought my house in the area. Today, I placed an order online, I came in to pick it up, because last week I picked curve side, and nobody brought my food until I went in almost an hour later and was told that they don’t even have a person to deliver such orders… When I came in today, I was greeted by some guy that seemed to be a manager, he had curly brown hair and was younger. He only said hi when I walked in, I said hi back. Then I approached the service desk and noticed nobody else was in the store, all I saw was my to-go bag (that I had already paid for in the app) sitting right there at the counter top. I reached out to grab it when that same guy, launched at my hand and blocked it (like a child reaching for that extra cookie from grandma). He lectured me about how “we don’t just come and grab stuff like that”. I was in disbelief for a few seconds, then I told him about my curve-side experiment from last week, and that I didn’t know everywhere I order from and pay in advance I just get my order myself. He didn’t seem to care to even listen. He kept patronizing me about getting my order. He then very intentionally slowly searched on the computer for my order (even though was the only one) and tried to confirmed my name (which I’ve had already told him) then he still had his hand up, preventing my hand from grabbing my bag, even he had confirme de it was me.. At that point I just had to snatch my order, paid with my hard earned money, and walk away. After sharing my experience with others, I was made aware that racism was a very likely motivating factor in this situation. I’m extremely distressed and disappointed about this.

2 Sisters Together 2 Sisters Forever
Ordered Grilled Chicken. Was given fried. Ok, normally no biggie. But the waitress spilled the chicken, picked it up with her hands, and served it to me anyway. Friend ordered fried chicken and looked like almost a Salisbury steak. Another friend ordered the meatloaf, cut into it, and it deflated.

Generally, the food is excellent. However, they have changed the chicken in the chicken pot pie, and it’s not good. It was in cubes and tasted like little chicken sponges. Eat anything there, but be careful. You may not like the change made to this chicken pot pie.
