The food reminds you of a southern homemade meal. The staff is friendly, and the service was fast. I ordered a seasonal drink (watermelon lemonade). The drink was great and our food was hot and flavorful. Cracker Barrel is a place that delivers a great experience consistently.

My first time ordering here and my LAST. I order through doordash and they didn’t give my dasher a whole bag which had my kids meal inside. And our meats were straight PINK. i know some may like their meats like that , but i do NOT.

I ordered grandmas sampler and I wanted scrambled egg as and added berries and cream topping and didn’t get toppings or scrambled eggs but the service was rude so I didn’t even ask her to correct the eggs. But I didn’t get the whipped cream

It’s a Cracker Barrel. The food is always delicious. And it was a beautiful evening for rocking on the front porch after a meal with a friend. You should take advantage of that, too!

Just ordered two entrees to go. The meatloaf was burnt, dry, and tasted like a whole container of salt was dumped on it. The mash potatoes and gravy were dry, bland, and had not salt at all. The corn bread was like a brick and dry, also, no flavor. I have no idea what happened, but the last time I ordered the meatloaf, it was perfect.

Our waitress was the only reason the service received the 2-stars that it did. She was very friendly. I had a group of 16 coming in for breakfast this morning. We tried to call ahead and didn’t receive an answer. We tried a reservation online and it wouldn’t accept more than a party of 6. We sent a member of our party in to put our name in at the hostess stand and was told they couldn’t seat us in the section for larger parties because a larger group had called ahead, although this party wasn’t arriving until we were standing there waiting. After waiting we were told they could seat a group of 9 together and a group of 7 as closely as possible but not at the same table. We were then hurried inside with a threat that if we didn’t come accept the tables then we’d be placed back on the wait list. We walked inside (without being shown to the table) and had to wait in the open area. Our party of 9 was then shown to a table that only sat 8. The manager came up to the table without saying hello and rudely asked “what’s wrong?” I explained the situation and she interrupted to tell me that she couldn’t do anything about it and she told the member of my party earlier that our large group would be in two separate dining rooms. I waited for her to finish before saying something else and she interrupted me a second time to aggressively push her tablet near my face to show me how crowded her sections were (I didn’t ask to see nor did I question it or her defensive nature). I then took a step back and told her it was fine but the issue still remained that she was having us sit 9 people at a table with 8 chairs. She stood straight and replied “oh, is that it?” And pulled a chair from the table next to us. To add to this, she was rude to another member of our party. The worst of the entire issue was that she was overheard by a member of our party complaining to another individual that I was being rude and irate because I was upset and I was demanding a table to seat us because I said she had promised we would sit together (none of which was said by anyone in our party). Again, the waitress who was kind, apologetic, and prompt was the only reason they received as many stars as they did. I also witnessed a table have to get up and go get a waitstaff member because no one had come to their table to take their order and another group have to be moved because they were sat at a table in the corner for five adults and didn’t have room for their drinks or food. Terrible service and we should have gone to Bob Evans. I will not be returning to this location.

We normally love Cracker Barrel. We actually picked this one to be our stop during our trip. When we got there there was no wait. But when my husband put his arm down on the table, it was all sticky. So he asked for the table to wiped off…no big deal. But while the waitress said no problem, she then ignored us for a while. And instead of choosing numerous opportunities for service recovery it just kept getting worse. We had to wait to have our order taken, then a long time for drinks, the biscuits and cornbread didn’t come until we asked and then were told the kitchen was backed up bc of other large orders. But each time she came to the table she didn’t bring jam, ketchup, knives, napkins, offer refills etc. If she had taken the time to see what we did and didn’t have it wouldn’t have been a problem and she could have turned the experience around at any time. Esp since the table next to us she knew didn’t have knives among other things and was quick to meet their requests. I’m not sure if this was intentional since we asked for the table to be cleaned? We didn’t mention that salt shaker which had dried ketchup smears or that their table menu had sticky stuff all over it. We just asked for the table to be wiped again. If she was having a bad day, hopefully she will have a better one soon. There seemed to be a lot of drama going on with the waitresses and hostess. Unfortunately, if we are in the area again, we won’t be coming back. I worked as a waitress for several years and tend to be very gracious, but this was sad. The waitress wasn’t nasty but polite though short in her response, but we definitely felt ignored. Hopefully, she can pick up on the service recovery opportunities next time. Then she would have smoothed everything over and the stop would have been great!

Disorganized start but a decent meal. We had a party of 7. Called earlier in the day to see if we should book something for our Sunday afternoon gathering. The girl said no need they aren’t normally that busy Sunday afternoon. We get there in the afternoon. 30 minute wait. Not that big of a deal. Finally get taken to our table. Table wasn’t ready like the hostess thought! We stand there as they clean it. Get seated and then wait and wait. No silver wear or menu’s given to us. One waitress came up and asked if we got silverware I said no. Then another asked if we had our order taken I had to say no we haven’t. This was all while management was sitting in the corner enjoying break time and eating. It honestly took more time just to get someone to take our order and get silverware than it took to get our food out. About 21 minutes for all our food to make it out. Not bad at all for a party of 7. Our 3rd waitress was nice. I feel like she could of checked in maybe 1 or 2 more times. She never asked if we wanted dessert or not. My meal cheese burger and fries was good. Pretty greesy. They go light on the fries for sure. Macaroni was probably the stand out for me.

Probably the most “off” service I’ve ever had. The server was nice and polite but didn’t know what was included with our orders when food came out. So we had to ask 10 questions of “didn’t it come with this” and being told no it did not and I had to blatantly say my choice of breakfast on the menu most definitely included such and such. Once it was corrected, the gravy was literal corn starch and water. Dipping a biscuit in it tasted completely stale with no flavor what so ever. So then oddly enough the manager stopped by our table and asked if everything tasted okay and we said yes, except for the gravy. Who then replied ever so snarky “that’s the first time I’ve heard that this morning” and stood over our table before taking her creepy smile else where. I have worked in food industry for 8 years and knowing the appropriate response would be “I’m sorry how can I fix this for you” or “let me get you some fresh gravy to try” but the response she gave was weird and her actions were even more awkward as she just smiled , stood over us, and walked away. Definitely just a weird over all experience. Expectations are not set high for Miller Lane but what expectations I DID have were most definitely not met here.
