We ordered delivery through 3rd party and received notification that it wasn’t ready when the driver arrived. The order was delayed and skimpy upon arrival. The hashbrowns was the only item I enjoyed. My French toast wasn’t good. The bacon, sausage, and ham were all overcooked and dry. I received sausage and gravy instead of grits but no biscuit to pour it on. The steak tips were poorly cut portions of a 6oz overcooked steak. The chicken fried chicken was also a small portion. I wasn’t a fan.

The food was ok. I had the Gma breakfast sampler. I think that’s what it’s called. Grits, eggs, bacon, ham, and pancakes. Idk what kind of syrup that was, but it basically ruined the pancakes. And not too sure if v what kind of sausage patty that was either, maybe turkey sausage? It was reddish on the inside. The grits, eggs, and ham was good. I always love the decor inside the cracker barrel. I even bought a cast iron skillet at a Good price of 36$

My first experience at the Cracker Barrel and I was so excited to try, and I was extremely disappointed with the entire experience, from food to servers, etc. It was horrible and I would not recommend it!! Below is a picture of what I ordered off the menu vs. what I was served. I have never refused to eat food or return anything at any restraunt and unfortunately they gave me every excuse as to why my food didn’t look like what was pictured on menu Pretty much all ingredients were missing!!

I enjoy the Old Times store at Cracker Barrel. The food is good but the service leaves a lot to be desired. They definitely need to do a better job of cleaning tables and silverware. We requested plastic utensils because the silverware was filthy. I watched the hostess wipe down a table and it still had a pile of salt on it AFTER she wiped it down! We visited on a Monday morning, President’s day. We were seated promptly but waited about 45 minutes to receive our meal. The waitress seemed overwhelmed. I ordered momma’s pancake breakfast with impossible sausage. It was good and fulfilling. My daughters had grandma’s sampler and Old Timer’s breakfast. The biscuits n’ gravy was not good at all. No one ate it. Neither of my girls finished their meals. On top of the service lacking, the food was not good. I did enjoy my mimosa. But I rarely drink. Needless to say , I won’t be returning anytime soon.

I love Cracker Barrel. BUT… Today the food service was seriously slow. Food was excellent. Waitress was wonderful. Kitchen was slow. From the parking lot they didn’t seem too busy. Presentation was not the best either. As you can see from the picture, my hash brown casserole was dumped on my eggs. It all tasted delicious, just took forever.

I ordered a strawberry cheesecakes pancake and the service was poor because I got there 5 mins. after they said my food would be ready and it wasn’t ready till 10-15 mins after I got there. The food was skimpy to the point where it didn’t cover the bottom of the carry out plate and the bacon that I ordered was already broken up in pieces. All of the food that I ordered was cold and I ate it in the parking lot of the building less than 5 mins. after I received the food from just being carried out of the kitchen to the check out counter. The mimosa I ordered was tasty though. Needless to say I won’t be ordering here for a good while.

The last few orders that have been delivered were skimpy on the portions. This is ridiculous. Is that how you get over on the people that are not there to watch you plate the food? The fried okra barely covered the bottom of the cup! Hash brown casserole was blah and didn’t fill the sections of the to-go plate. Food was barely warm and I got no utensils. And what happened to the muffins?! They shrunk!! You all need to train your servers to give adequate portions of food for the amount of money you charge. The place stays busy so I don’t want to hear about cutbacks.

First visit to a Cracker Barrel in over a year. Couldn’t believe, at 11:00 AM on a Sunday morning we were able to be seated with no wait. Crowded restaurant but wait staff was friendly and efficient. Completely blew my diet with pancakes, which were fresh and warm, as good as my “memory”.
