Stumbled in here after a few hours drinking on bourbon st. Was so hot and hungry was thankful for the AC and fast service.Chicken nachos were the star of the show here!! I got tacos that were stuffed full and pretty good. Wasn’t too busy and nice atmosphere with decor and music.

Small place in the French Quarter. The food was really, really good. Cuban/Latin American cuisine; I think the only place like it in the Quarter. Marco was a great server; very energetic. He danced and sang along to the Latin American music playing. He seemed like he was having a really good time… I can literally hear other guests saying “Marco really loves his job!” and “wow, this food is good”. Worth coming back for.

The food was excellent, the service was excellent. We had the blue lagoon drink which was amazing & the Honduran enchiladas were amazing especially with the house made salsa verde.

Very nice Mexican restaurant hidden near Royal Street. Not our first choice, but we ended up here with no wait. A nice sit down and order type of restaurant. Salsa and chips before we ordered. Abita Amber (bottle) and a margarita (blended) were very good. Only three beers on tap. Chicken nachos, Shrimp fajitas and fried Yuca pictured. Not the best ever, but very good. Prices are higher than some, but in line with the French Quarter prices elsewhere.

The food was delicious but the service was atrocious. We watched a lot of patons walk out due to the lack of service. We were about to leave until the bartender noticed and stepped up to help the staff by taking our order. We started with their free chips and their rendition of salsa. My wife had the civeche and I had a Cuban Sandwich. We ordered one shrimp and one catfish po boys to go for our daughters. They also enjoyed their meals later at the hotel.

I don’t know how I have missed this place until now, but so very glad we dropped in last Friday. Margaritas were good and service was great. My tamales were different, but great. I look forward to returning soon. Did I mention….best rice ever!

What a hidden gem! We stopped 15 minutes before closing and was welcomed in with a warm smile and amazing service! The food was amazing, fresh and hot! Our server walked us out and told us to come see them the next day. Go for a visit and try the food!

Food wasn’t that good. Ordered Cuban plate rice cold n beans. Server Said I can exchange salad for plantains. Then charged me for plantains after he said was even swap for salad. Complain to manager about it she didn’t want to honor what waiter said. Spend over 110$ for 3 people plus tip wad added on bill for 3 people. Understand table of 5 or more. Overpriced food not good. Go to a restaurant out of that area like Metairie west Bank or kenner. Overpriced stay away. Used to go like 6 years ago was better but not now.

Ordered a Cuban sandwich in a Mexican restaurant. What should I expect? 9 inch bun with meat that would have fit in a 5 inch bun. Meat to bread ratio way off. Was worth the price but needed less bread.
