Cornerstone in Berlin just about tips the scales as high end dining. Outside of location doesn’t do much for the place, but once inside you get the fine dining feels with white tablecloths and a nice looking bar. Our server was 5 star perfect. He was super friendly, knowledgeable about the menu items and attentive throughout the entire meal. You start of with hot bread rolls with an awesome dipping sauce. Fried calamari were served hot, not overcooked and a decent sized serving. Gnocchi with blackened chicken was great!! You get a very large serving and this was also served piping hot. Zuppa De Pesce was fantastic as well and also served really hot and the large bowl was overflowing with food. Cornerstone is a great little place in Berlin and can easily see going back for more. One downside is the house water is simply awful. Would suggest a water filter or perhaps rinse glasses better after washing?

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful meal at Cornerstone. We split a garden salad, which was enough for a meal, then I ordered the stuffed salmon special and he had a steak. Both meals were delicious, well prepared, and filling. Everything was homemade and it showed. For dessert we ordered the cheesecake and tiramisu. I would definitely go there just for wine (amazing selection) and dessert. The owner was very friendly and we had a great conversation about where he was from. Staff was also friendly and we enjoyed chatting with them as well. This is a great new restaurant in Berlin and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a night of good food and wine. We are definitely going back and referring them to friends. I posted pictures and apologize because we both started eating them before I remembered to take a pic.

Every meal was delicious. We ordered 7 meals, 5 appetizers, 2 kids portions for pickup. The order was perfect, no mistakes, which is so rare these days. The food was hot, ready, and large delicious portions. The customer service was outstanding. The owner and staff helped me carry my food to the car. I can honestly say this was the best experience I had with a restaurant in years. I’ll be back, often.

heard good things & went with bestie today; u wouldn’t really be able to tell as much by the outside of restaurant, but inside u def get more of the fine-dining-feels, with white tablecloths, newly remodeled interior, countless bottles displayed along the walls & a nice looking bar…our server was 5-star as well; friendly & attentive throughout, without too many unnecessary checkins which allowed for a less interrupted meal & convo…pricing was definitely reasonable…and, most importantly, the food was fantastic (see picture); exactly to order, tasted delicious & freshly made, & presentation was lovely. overall an excellent little gem of a place, would definitely return & recommend!

We had a party of 6 and everyone enjoyed theŕe meal very much, calamari n fried mozz for apps i had shrimp scampi served over pasta, very impressed with 6 jumbo shrimp sauteed to perfection!!! 3 orders of eggplant rotini nobody made it to there 2nd one as they were stuffed n couldnt eat anymore!!! Im def going back again!!! Make resv if u go not a very big place!!! Im not a wine drinker but all sorts of diff wines!!! All n all great new italian restaurant with great service!

We we’re very excited to try the cornerstone restaurant. The inside is small, but very cozy and well decorated. Our server was an amazing young man. The meals were underwhelming. Ask for medium prime rib with a little pink and it came well done. Mashed potatoes very runny, Salmon was good but vegetables with it came in a sauce (which could have been our fault for not reading the menu carefully). The veal scallopini was just ok.

This is a wonderful local find. I have eaten at the Cornerstone Restaurant on several occasions, and every meal was a delight. I have never had anything served that was mediocre. There is a very good winelist, and the mixed drinks are spot on. The staff is pleasant, attentive, extremely friendly, and very knowledgeable. The owner is engaging, greets, and interacts with guests.
