Everything from the service to the food and the atmosphere was outstanding. I believe what I had was the steak that was deep, fried and breaded. It was absolutely awesome. Went for brunch on Sunday. Ordered the Jack Daniel’s burger. Burgers are made with a hand made patty that is big, thick, and juicy. Kaiser bun was nicely toasted. Burger had lots of flavor and was pretty good size. French fries were homemade and nice and crispy. Their prices are definitely on the higher side. Our waitress was very friendly and did a good job. Overall a good experience and good food, definitely couldn’t afford to eat here all the time though.

Our server made this a very enjoyable experience. Steaks and Shrimp were very tasty, steak was cooked just how I requested. Our server was very patient and took time to take an order from my disabled son. I typically will order for him as it just easier and timely. Our server sat next to my Son and really talked to him and got his order 100% correct. We also arrived close to closing time, but we were taken care of as if they just opened. Will definitely return when my travels take me back that way.

We read the reviews and got the chicken fried steak that folks had raved about. Well- they were correct! Delicious. Hubbie and I split it. He took the side dish snd I got the salad bar. Perfect. Our server, Jackie, was lovely. 🙂

Enjoyable experience. We were driving cross country and passed through to find City Grill. We were looking for GF vegan options and found this restaurant that had good reviews for GF with clearly marked menu items. I got the salad bar and a side of baked sweet potato, and kids got mashed potatoes as their side. The locals seemed pleased and commented well about the food. A very pleasant environment and service.

First off, it’s not cheap BUT I was very satisfied. You get what you pay for! Its hard sometimes for truck drivers to find a good place to sit down and eat but I walked out very full and very happy. I had the steak and soup/salad bar and everything was good, especially the steak and, believe it or not, the soup. The Cream of Asparagus was delicious! Had I not already had so much food, I would’ve went for another serving. The steak was cooked perfectly, the beer was only $2, and the bread pudding was great. My server, Kaity, was extremely kind, attentive, and made me feel welcomed. I ate WAY too much and probably drank too much too and it came to just over $40 not including a tip, which my server earned and deserved. I’m sure ill find myself back at the truck stop across the road and when I do, I will be back to visit. Good food, good service, and the atmosphere was very relaxing and quiet but not snobby at all. Good job! I’ve had a good relaxing evening.
