The food is great for the price point along with the original cocktail menu. It was one of the few fine dining restaurants that was open between 2 to 5 pm.

I am so happy we picked this place as our last stop before leaving SF. I had the chicken sandwich with a side of fries and it was delicious. Perhaps the best chicken sandwich I have ever had. Bravo to the chef.

This is a small restaurant with a nice bar in the main area of the restaurant. There are some booths downstairs but also tables upstairs. The interior of the restaurant is pretty basic and due to the floor and plain walls the noise level is pretty high.

Surprisingly good food here. Had the mussels, truffle fries, fried chicken sandwich and pork chop. Nothing absolutely blew my mind but decently priced for sf and taste wise was good. Service was attentive and the outdoor seating was comfortable. Would come back again.

Pleasant lunch stop while walking around San Francisco. Muscles were off the menu so I had a charcuterie board. We also ordered a salad with grilled chicken.

We enjoyed two visits here on our visit to SF. The service, food, drinks and atmosphere was excellent. Anna, our server the first night, was so fun, friendly and professional. Also made great cocktails. We had the risotto, with grilled chicken. So yummy. The next night we chatted with one of the family members who own Ailment. It’s clear he’s invested in the business. I’m sure that’s one one the reasons Ailment has been operating for 10 years. The second visit we enjoyed the Brussel sprouts. Another hit. Thanks for adding to our enjoyable trip to SF.

Their manager was super helpful in helping me reserve a large table in advance for a team lunch! Everyone seemed to have a fantastic time.

I ate here 3 weeks ago, great food, great experience. So, this time…I made a reservation for one. Showed up a bit early. Was offered any seat. Once I picked it, I was told by the manager that I couldn’t sit there but was welcome at the bar or upstairs, where no other diners were seated. Unacceptable. Unwelcoming. Never will I eat there again.

Stopped in and had a couple of cocktails after work. Drinks were made well, well presented, and tasted great! Service was exceptional! Food menu looked great and I would return again to try it out!

Went for an early dinner with my sister before heading into Oakland for a concert. We both had the Bonzai Sour and brussel sprouts, which were delicious. She got the chicken sandwich and I got the burger. The bacon jam was to die for. Our server Joey was quick and attentive and also gave us some recommendations for tatto shops in the city. Overall a great meal with great service.
