The food was excellent, and the waitress was very attentive. I had the wonton soup, crispy honey walnut chicken, garlic string beans, and the short ribs. Every dish was very good. If I had to choose a favorite it was probably the honey walnut chicken because it had a very satisfying crispy texture on the outside.

There were lots of pieces in the spicy wontons dish, sauces were flavorful. Intestines were hot and crispy on the outside and juicy inside. Rice cakes were nice, soft and chewy. Lots of big pieces of fish in the boiled fish, soup is yummy over rice. String beans were tender and plump and had a good amount of meat with it. Large portions, came with 4 people total and had lots of leftovers!

The Chongqing chicken here is remarkably good. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the dishes I’ve tried and plan to come back for more. There aren’t too many good Chinese restaurants in Newcastle or Renton, so I’m glad I tried this place.

My recent favorites are the 凉拌马兰头 (Cold Tossed Indian Aster)—light, fragrant, and perfectly seasoned—and the 东北锅包肉 (Northeastern Sweet & Sour Pork), which is crispy, tangy, and so addictive. And of course, my all-time favorite remains their stir-fried vegetables and noodles—simple yet packed with flavor.
Plus, they now offer dim sum in the early hours, which makes it the perfect spot for a weekend morning treat. This place balances consistency with creativity so well. Highly recommend!

I used to regularly order the hot boiled fish, which was delicious. But lately they have been substituting bean sprouts for the cabbage normally in the dish. I don’t like it near as much now. Harder to eat with the long sprouts, not ans filling and not as flavorful to me.

Honestly – the food was quite amazing. The problem is that it is way over-priced. So instead of eating it every week like we do with other places, we order it once every 3-4 months. Given the portion sizes they are just charging too much compared to every other place in Bellevue.

I ordered spring rolls and chicken with string beans. This was an amazing meal! All of the food was so fresh and delicious. I loved the hot, crispy spring rolls which came with a little cup of red sweet & sour sauce (the rolls still taste great without the sauce, too). Both the chicken and the string beans were perfectly cooked and coated in a delicious sauce that was not overly sweet or salty, rather very balanced—really impressed. I did not order rice (meal doesn’t include it), but if you prefer some extra carbs with your protein and vegetables, the amount of sauce at the bottom would be yummy soaked up by some steamed rice (I drank the little amount remaining )! I am excited to return and try other things. Thank you, Yang’s!
