We are well traveled and currently on a cross country drive. We stopped here for breakfast based on another review. This is a no frills little restaurant. The food is FANTASTIC! This was easily the best Chicken Fried Steak I’ve ever had anywhere! Everything else was cooked to perfection and as ordered. The biscuits were light and fluffy with a toasty buttery bottom that maintains the flakiness. The sausage gravy is home made here daily and is full of sausage and flavor. Hash browns are fresh and crispy and not at all greasy. Eggs cooked as ordered. We’re here for three more days! Can’t wait for breakfast tomorrow! I’ll see my cardiologist AFTER vacation! Lol!

Amazing people. Amazing food. I have never had a bad experience there after eating countless times. My go-to is the mount sunflower biscuits and gravy with ketchup drizzle and half cottage fries and half hash browns, but my new favorite is the Dodge City chicken fried steak.

Biscuits and gravy were delicious. Hard to find good biscuits and gravy out, as most places skimp on the sausage. Very good here, though. Service was decent as well.

If u want down home cooking and big portions for not alot of money.. this is that place. They use seasonings and the food is always good. Breakfast is always available. It’s the epitome of hole in the wall/ greasy spoon… in a good way. Waitresses are nice and its the small town place to go.

This place used to be good breakfast place but ever since the new owners came in Everything’s changed the food quality not the best, customer service it took a while to get my water refilled. Got my food quick which is nice but the taste is not there anymore so disappointed I used to love the biscuits and gravy. Used to be a decent place to eat for breakfast time to look for another place. The atmosphere and overall theme of the restaurant is a little bit preppy hippie feel no longer Kansas Western feel to it. But eventually Everything Changes
