First time experience. Fantastic food and service by Alex. Highly recommend the huge drink, it was very refreshing and delicious. The calamari was very fresh and tastes amazing. The main meals were all perfect! I at the Cuban dip with plantains and it was by far the best I have ever eaten. We came is the afternoon between lunch and dinner and it wasn’t packed. Our menu was the lunch menu and I think it was very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. 100 percent recommend coming to eat here. Bring cash or except a service fee for using card.

The outdoor sitting is very cozy, and my family and I enjoy every moment of it. The menu had something for everyone in my family, which is a plus because I have a daughter who eats plant based. Cintrón had many options. The lady who waited on our table was very knowledgeable of the menu items. I was also very pleased with her as our waitress. The food has flavor, not bland. Also, the portions are perfect. I will definitely visit again.

We’ve been wanting to try Cintron since moving to Gainesville and it did not disappoint! Excellent service, incredible food! I had the fish tacos. Hubby had the pork chops. Above and beyond. My daughters loved the live music! And salmon on the kids meals?? Amazing! We can’t wait to come back.

It is a nice place to visit on Thursdays, they have live music and a nice atmosphere, the waiter and especially the hostess are super nice and attentive. You should also try the “Tierrita” dessert, it is a chocolate mousse served in a real plant pot.

Came here for dinner with a friend. Service was prompt, professional, friendly without being distracting (thanks, Alex!). The drinks and food were really good. We didn’t wait too long, the ambiance was nice, and even though we had finished our meal we felt comfortable talking and lingering without feeling rushed. Definitely will go back. (The burger was plated better than that, but I couldn’t stop from digging into the fries early- they were perfect).

WOW! This is our NEW favorite restaurant in Gainesville! From our pleasant, personable waiter Mikey to our delicious and perfectly cooked churrasco, red beans and rice and plantains…this place was top notch! We also had an off-the-chart excellent fried cheese appetizer and Mikey recommended the cookie crumble chocolate mousse with the most clever presentation I’ve ever seen: including the sprig of mint in the middle of this flower pot. THIS place is a MUST for a Gainesville denizens! And I love the quaint outside and indoor seating set in a tropical environment. Whether it be for a date night or a corporate function, this restaurant is a keeper. Cintron is awesome and lives up to it’s Florida-Caribbean name (Floribbean). A+ in food quality/presentation, wait staff service AND ambiance! EXCELLENT!

Took a dear friend to celebrate her 50th. The food could not have been more amazing. Seriously, OUTSTANDING. We enjoyed the outdoor patio seating and professional yet friendly service (Alex was our waiter ). Absolutely recommend! A new favorite, for me. Hoping to return soon.
