My apologies, I thought I had already placed a review. We visited this place on January 25, closer closing time. The waitress we had was fantastic!! She was attentive, thoughtful and helpful! We had a great late dinner. The sauces with chips were all different heat levels and delicious!

What a fun restaurant!! Our server was super friendly and each room has a theme (the hubcap room, the art room, etc) which definitely adds to the ambience and casual dining feel. The food was fresh and tasty and I definitely recommend the creamy jalapeño dip for your tortilla chips! They have a full bar for the adults and this is very much a kid-friendly establishment. Highly recommended!!

Worst fajitas I’ve ever eaten. No taste. Bland as hell. Flys every where. Very uncomfortable eating here. Rhonda was very friendly. Manager gave us 50%off fajitas. Still ver unsatisfied…chicken fajitas burnt on the bottom too..

Think outside the chain. This is a formulaic experience that minions flock to. It’s easy, you know what to expect. You line the pockets of big corporate execs because you don’t like to take chances or experiment with new places. Is the good great? No, but it’s OK. There are so many better Mexican food or Tex Mex places just waiting a few minutes away but you’re not feeling adventurous. It’s time to go off the chain and try that little mom & pop place you’ve driven past a thousand times. Most of them have really great food, and your money stays right there in your community, doing good for your friends and neighbors instead of suits in a corporate office mindlessly raking in the profits for a new vacation home. You’re not a minion – don’t follow the crowds – be yourself. You’ll discover new food and maybe a great new favorite instead of mass produced, mass marketed grunge. I have not been here in a long time and I really don’t know why. The food was very good , my husband got the Elvis Special and I got one of the specials. There was a lot of food. I liked the Tex Mex sauce on my enchiladas and the queso on an enchilada and on the chulupa was very good and I appreciated it was not in a small cafeteria bowl ( used to get a special at another restaurant in town it was in a little kinda taco like crispy bowl , when I ask why it was not in that , I was told cut backs??) The salsa was also very fresh. I took half my lunch home, and our waiter Scout ( who was very good) told us to try the GIANT burritos next time. We have decided that when we return , we will split one. The beef taco was good , it did not break apart , and it even stood up as it had a flat bottom. My only disappointment was that they did not have FLAN !!! Who cares about tres Leches cake ( I can get that at HEB)

Well, I hadn’t been here in quite some time, but today I ordered fajita quesadillas, and I was disappointed because it wasn’t a quesadilla like. It was more like Tacos I was like hmm ok then the serving on the inside was not all that as if the portions are changing on main courses yet they give you more than plenty of Rice & Beans just abt in every dish just to try to get you full with that. Uh, no, then the order said quesadillas comes with sour cream and guacamole, but the serving on that sour cream is fine, but the guacamole serving was a JOKE So that dolop if u want to call it that is to be enough for the quesadillas I think NOT!. So I told my waitress and I said may I have a bit more because the portion is Not enough so she said sure she brings a bowl as big as the ranch/salsa they give you at table that miniature bowl brings me 2 little balls of guacamole and leaves it there and she leaves so I began to put on my plate. Tried finishing my dinner, and my other half ordered enchiladas, so they were ok. Anyway, the bill comes, and I hate surprises she charges me $7.00 extra for the guacamole I’m like, are you serious… I complained about the portion, then told me nothing about extra charge before giving it to me, and I’m like, I’m supposed to pay for it when I asked. I wanted a decent portion on the plate. I told her why are you charging me? She said , “This is her response.”Unfortunately, that is the way it comes. ” So then you bring me more without telling me it’s extra charge and $7.00 for those 2 little balls of guacamole. Are you kidding me. ♀️ I still paid it upset and all because I said you should tell your customer. She mocked me and said (I should have told you) ugh… idk she comes with this coupon to cover her error and more like putting the finger in my mouth to shut me up, and I didn’t like it. But I’m telling you all when you pay for a $12.00 + another $7.00 for a dish you be pist off too in adding that surprise charge instead of fixing the problem. Just heads up, y’all, if you ask for any corrections, be sure and ck your bill or ask if it extra because they aren’t gonna fix the problem. Unfortunately, it was here in Corpus Christi store never had an issue with other Chuy restaurants elsewhere. so Heads up, guys!

Just wow. I was really surprise how good the food was. They served chips with salsa and dip. They were amazing. Service was amazing, server was wonderful and helped make some recommendations for the food. After the order was place, food came out without a long wait. The burritos are really as big as yo face and very good. I got the chicken burrito with the boom boom sauce and I am seriously considering getting it again when we go back.
