I ordered a vegetable chow mein and it was absolutely delicious. I just moved to Vallejo and have tried a few places and this one by far was the best. The chow mein was so flavorful, I usually need a substantial amount of sweet and sour sauce but this dish was delicious even before I added my sauce. Will definitely be a regular. Great portion sizes and great prices.

Nice and tasty food. I bought their seafood platter and duck meat. Lovely taste but I didn’t like the duck though I was excited. It had to lot of bones to chew. Seafood was really tasty with the sauce. The order was ready within few minutes and it’s situated in a great location. Will visit again definitely. Next time please don’t forget to put spoons and fork for take out customers lol.

My husband had Mongolian beef and he liked it but I had sweet n sour chicken and the chicken seems to be rehydrated or something. It was extremely chewy and dry, unlike any chicken I’ve ever had before! Stay away from chicken that’s deep fried, very poor quality meat. For the price I don’t expect rehydrated chicken!

I think this place has some of the best flavors I had salt and pepper prawns and salt and pepper chicken a few days ago very delicious best salt and pepper fronds I’ve ever had I also like the shrimp wonton soup it has a very clean broth definitely recommend it

This is the most disgusting Chinese food I have ever had. I ordered $120 worth of food for 5 adults and we couldn’t eat he majority of it. The Chinese chicken salad was a mound of iceberg lettuce with what seemed to be a glob if mayonnaise on top of it. There were a few pieces of chicken, maybe enough for 1 person when he salad should serve 4. The sauce for the orange chicken was hoppy and smelled awful. I never would have known it was orange sauce. The sauce for he lemon chicken tasted like it had cleaner in it. The beef and broccoli had a bad after taste. We stopped eating it because we were scared we were going to get sick. When I asked for a refund they refused. This was an awful experience and I wish I could give zero stars.

The service was very friendly. The price quite affordable. The place was super quite. Decorated like a typical Chinese restaurant from the 90’s. The food was ok. We ordered two pairs with chow mein. The chow mein was quite good, and also I’ve of the plates (Mongolian beef or similar). The orange chicken was disappointing. It tasted and looked like some fried manufactured Frozen chicken pieces with some industrial sauce on it.

The atmosphere was very nice and quiet. I do not know if they were short staff but it took the waiter fifteen to twenty minutes just to bring us our drinks. Every Chinese restaurant I have went to you always get the soup of the day with the lunch special but in this case we did not get any soup and he did not even ask what kind of soup we wanted; but he did however give the customers at the table soup. Lastly, my fellow coworkers and I are finished done eating and he has yet to even come over to our table and ask us if we are ready for our checks. This waiter has paid way more attention to the customers at the table next to us then he has to us since we have been here. I did not like the customer service at this restaurant it could have been better.

Been going to China Cafe for at least 25 years & it never disappoints. Have lunch after going to the Farmers market & ordered takeout trays for family gatherings as well as had dinner there many times. Got to know the former owners who were very friendly & found that the new owners haven’t missed a beat. The food is always great & Jim is always friendly & fast when serving you.
