Chimi is fantastic: their peanut salsa is a game-changer. We especially love the Peruvian chicken, adobo pulled pork, and we always get extra peanut salsa. This is the perfect new take-out option for social-distancing-friendly meals in late summer and early fall here in Cleveland.

Ordered the requeson, tostones, barbacoa and shrimp in creamed corn. Everything was delicious and it was fun to mix and match the flavors, sauces and accoutrements. Will DEFINITELY be back to try more combos, despite being a 20+ minute ride away. So worth it; everything kept great and was presented really well for takeout!

Absolutely one of the best meals that my boyfriend and I have had in the past several months. We got a ton of food to try many different options, and loved them all. The food was packaged very nicely and traveled well back to our apartment 30 minutes away – was still warm and delicious!

Such a great restaurant! The South American food from Chimi is so unique and delicious. I’ve enjoyed everything on the menu so far, but I’ve gone back for the short rib, peanut salsa and the tostones with queso every time I’ve ordered. They’re doing great work here, and Amba is connected, so you can get Indian and South American food in 1 stop!

over the summer, my best friend, sister and I ordered basically everything on the menu and had a beautiful picnic at the polo fields. The food was DELICIOUS. Flavorful, bright, and unlike anything I had ever tasted before. Beautiful work from Doug Katz.

Unbelievably good food from Doug Katz and his team. Started this ‘ghost kitchen’ during covid, and we’re PRAYING they don’t get rid of it when the pandemic ends. Incredibly flavors, great variety, and one of the best burgers (Chimi Burger) and chips and salsa (Peanut Salsa) in Cleveland, hands down.

We tried this new restaurant a month ago for a take out: we tried several of the dishes (perfect to share) and everything was delicious! And I would like to highlight that the portions are not as stingy as in many other restaurants offering (top notch) shareables: we had a lot of food and were really happy! We appreciated the style too, that I’d define pan-american: a mixture of different styles and cultures with exquisite touches everywhere.

Chimi’s food is the best I’ve had in Cleveland! Four of us split the peanut salsa, arugula & quinoa salad (light and amazing!), jackfruit tamale (fabulous!), shortrib barbacoa, shrimp & creamed corn, peruvian chicken, tostones, and spiced brownies. Tortillas came with the entrees, and everything was absolutely delicious! The flavors were complex but not overdone. Truly fantastic food!

Would not recommend using their online ordering app. We received a confirmation email saying our dinner would be ready at 7:31pm. At 8:05pm, our order was still not ready. My husband sat in the car and waited for 45 minutes without notification of when or how long it would be.

This is hands down my favorite place to get food in CLE. The jackfruit tamale slays me every time. The naan is immaculate. Sustainable packaging. YUM!
