Found this gem via Google search. We were passing through Durango on our way home (Lincoln, IL) from The Grand Canyon. We opted to sit at the counter that overlooks the kitchen. We had a great time talking with the chefs preparing the meals. Friendly, inviting, interesting to talk to and watch. Our server Dusty was attentive and friendly. My wife had the salmon and I had the done in pork chop. All were really good. You can’t go wrong eating here. The wedge salad was mighty tasty.

One of my favorite restaurants in Durango. The atmosphere is welcoming, the service is consistently friendly, and the menu offers a good variety of well prepared dishes. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality makes it worthwhile.

Unique flavors, casual atmosphere, attentive service, yummy cocktails. What’s not to like about this place? The sleeper on the menu is the cauliflower steak. So so good. I want to eat it again tomorrow!

A local recommended Chimayo Stone Fired Kitchen saying it is his favorite restaurant in town. It’s easy to see why. The place has a cool vibe, interesting decor, and amazing food.

I did not have food and came in originally because my package was accidentally delivered to the steak house around the corner. I was welcomed, my package was located, and I enjoyed a beautifully made old fashion that put most others to shame. Thank you for a very pleasant experience!

We stumbled upon this place when the place we had picked out was actually busy. The atmosphere is fantastic. Brick walls. Offset lighting. Fantastic ambience.
Serving staff was extremely professional. We had a serve by the name of Nick. But as we looked around the restaurant and noticed their entire staff and Chef crew in the back that you can see from your table are very professional. Very unique for a tourist town.
We chose the Chimayo bread for an appetizer. It was fantastic. Way better than Texas roadhouse dinner rolls with a very unique butter/honey Spread.
My wife shows the cauliflower steak. Extremely well prepared. Cauliflower was a 1 inch stick slice of cauliflower with roasted cherry tomatoes, zucchini, wedge, tomatoes, shaved Parmesan, and a very nice light seasoned sauce on top. Fantastic.
I chose the flatbread steak sandwich because of the reviews and the recommendation by the server. It was also fantastic. Made with their pizza dough. Stuffed with roasted bell pepper, onions, mushrooms, steak and a very nice sauce. Like a calzone except that the bread wasn’t closed over. It was fantastic. .

Food was DELISH. Their signature margarita was a great compliment to the queso fundido and stuffed chile entree I got. SO good. Recommend reservations. Atmosphere is lovely, cool and a little elevated. Overall good spot!

We found this restaurant on Google Maps and it was a wonderful dinner. Our waitress, Desirae, was really nice and professional. She was thoughtful and efficient, which enhanced the whole dining experience.
Their food was well prepared and presented. Definitely one place we will visit again in the future when we are in the area.

A wonderful restaurant with wonderful food. I completely forgot to take photos of the seasonal soup and the salad we got. I believe it was the warm butternut squash salad and we added steak – it was incredible. The pizza was fantastic, also forgot to take photo of that.
The mocktails were fantastic as was the vanilla bean crème brûlée. I will come back here anytime I visit.
