Chima Steakhouse named after chimarrao, a traditional drink of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, that symbolizes hospitality and friendship-certainly lives up to its name. Legend has it, in South Brazil traditional gauchos (cowboys) would consume a diet that consisted almost entirely of beef. The meat was seasoned, placed on skewers, and slow cooked over a wood burning flame. Historically, gauchos were known for their generosity and hospitality.

This is not my first visit to Chima I have been to this restaurant dozens of times. I find this restaurant complete in all aspects and in my opinion, it deserves five stars well deserved. Services, food quality, and great communication, all of which I rate above excellent. As a customer (Muslim), I found that the waiters are very careful and tell me the types of meat before serving it to me, and this is something that reflects to me their respect for people’s cultures and religions. I am very appreciative of the Chima staff for the warm reception and the wonderful treatment we always receive. I would also like to thank the “Charinee❤️” whom my mother called her “the bee” for her quick service and vitality.

There are many routes to getting to Chima but mine was by off the cuff recommendation from a trusted friend and boy, was she right. Post-visit, now perusing all the earlier reviews, I can agree and certainly see why for a creme de la creme Brazilian Steakhouse you can get an occasional ding. However, our experience during our visit was great, guachos were busy, waiter was busy though attentive. We had varied tastes and needs on our table but Chimas “tried” to meet all our needs. I’d say tolerance is needed but at the same time if diners are paying big bucks for the meal, ambience and experience, I can see why diners can be bummed for small details. I think most aspects of Chimas has been covered by earlier reviewers and pictures. Certainly, use the valet – worth it. Stroll around and take some pics by the fountain. Restrooms were clean, which is a good sign of a good restaurant.

Love coming here to get the rodizio. Meats are always cooked perfect. Love getting the filet minion, Cajun ribeye, cinnamon pineapple, grilled cheese w/ honey, shrimp. Service is always great here as well. Consistently brings out meats and frequents table often. Huge gourmet salad bar and a variety of sauce options. The rice is always a hit or a miss though. They also give a complimentary dessert if you’re celebrating a special occasion.

First of all… the place was not only clean, service was great, and food was pretty great. But also Andrea (our waitress) was absolutely amazing. She did not only take care of us, but she also accommodated my bf’s restrictions. He could not eat sugar or carbs, so I asked if they could get a piece of cheese with a candle… and they surpassed my expectations. They carved a heart of mozzarella cheese and put a candle in it. SOOOO SWEET.
