I think the most important thing to call out about Chikyu is that you don’t need to be Vegan or Vegetarian to enjoy this place. If you consider yourself a fan of sushi, Chikyu is a must if you’re in Las Vegas. The flavor profiles we’ve experienced in the various rolls at Chikyu have been unlike anything I’ve had elsewhere, in a very good way!

Wow! What an experience! It was a very nice small restaurant. If you like/love sushi and have a gluten free or vegan lifestyle or diet then this is the place for you! It has a very nice atmosphere! It is a first come first basis as of now. The chefs are very quick with steady hands creating unique plates of food! I primarily tried the sushi tonight with the sides but I will be going back for the ramen noodles, soups, and salads! They also serve beer, wine, and sake! I believe this restaurant can turn into something special as it is a very unique restaurant and very unique cooking with regular vegan food. Great experience! Price was medium priced.

There is no better vegan sushi place in Las Vegas, PERIOD! The food here is amazing. Full of flavor and beautiful to look at. They really are passionate and it shows. From the food to the staff it is always top notch. The beet salad, the tempura cauliflower and pretty much their entire menu. Also, they use only the freshest of ingredients. No wonder they were #1 on Yelp Top 100

Amazing sushi! This place had unique flavors and textures I hadn’t experienced before with their specialty rolls. The menu is completely vegan and most items are gluten free (ask first). We sat at the sushi bar and had great conversation and recommendations from the sushi chef (and possibly the owner). The service was amazing but the food was also fantastic.

If you’re reading this, I don’t think you understand- you don’t need to read reviews for this place because it’s the best sushi ever, just go to it. Stop reading and go to Chikyu! I’ll write one anyway though- I don’t remember what I get quite frequently because I always order way more than I intend to eat because I want to try all of it all the time. Sometimes I’m like “these ingredients are whack” but then I eat it and I’m floored at the amazing taste they have created with it. Nothing here disappoints. I spend $100+ everytime not because it’s expensive, but because you won’t stop trying and eating things. Both my vegan and non-vegan friends from out of state agree this is the best sushi, and possibly best food, period. Also get the desserts, even if you’re full. Tip this amazing staff well. Lots of parking. The only sad part of this place is the size- it’s relatively small and on busy nights you’ll have quite a wait time. 🙁 but is it worth it? Absolutely no question.

Hands down the best sushi place I have ever been to, and it’s vegan. Every single piece of sushi was amazing in every way. I usually eat regular sushi and coming here absolutely blew my mind. The customer service was above and beyond and our server was great. The food and the drinks available were just unexplainablely good. I would recommend coming here 10/10 if you are ever in the Las Vegas area. It is worth the trip.

WOW! I’m impressed. My best friend took me here for my birthday. The food was so good! I think this is my favorite sushi spot in town. I don’t want to give it away, but I will say the Tomato Nigiri was probably my favorite thing there. The place is a little small so make sure you get there early or be nice if you have to wait. The food and service is quality and worth it

If you want to eat something amazing and new flavors then you should eat at Chikyu. It is not cheap but it is totally worth it because you can feel the chef made lots of researches when making his amazing sushis. I just don’t suggest to eat the California roll.

A Must try for amazing delicious sushi! If you’re expecting regular sushi, you’re going to be blown away by the incredible flavor and texture of the vegan sushi. Everything was excellent and the Desert Gold tasted just like spicy ahi tempura roll. It’s so delicious you keep thinking it’s fish or crab! We ordered gyoza, sunflower salad, stream orchid, staghorn, grilled oyster mushroom and Desert Gold. Highly recommended.
