I’m really disappointed with my experience at this Chick-fil-A. I went through the drive-thru around 12:50 PM on November 11th and placed a very simple order for two grilled chicken sandwich meals. I clearly said grilled, not crispy. I also asked for one Dr Pepper, one regular Coke, and Polynesian sauce.
What I got was completely wrong. Both sandwiches were the crispy breaded kind that we don’t eat. Instead of a regular Coke, I was given a Diet Coke. And instead of Polynesian sauce, I was given Chick-fil-A sauce. It’s like nobody was paying attention at all.
The employee taking the order didn’t even seem to have a menu to reference, which made the process confusing from the start. I repeated my order twice just to be sure it was right, but apparently it didn’t matter. I didn’t realize the mistakes until I was already back on the highway heading toward DC, so there was no way to turn around or get it fixed.
For a company that’s built its reputation on great service and accuracy, this was really disappointing. I spent over $20 on food that was completely wrong and not what I ordered. There was no attention to detail, no double-checking the bag, and no care in making sure the customer received what they actually paid for.
This is not the kind of experience I expect from Chick-fil-A. I hope management looks into what happened today and reminds the staff how important it is to listen carefully and check orders before handing them out. Mistakes happen, but this was a complete failure from start to finish.
Our favorite team members are Joy and Love! They are so kind and welcoming every time we come there we are definitely regulars! My toddler even knows Loves name and remembers her when we go. It is the most adorable thing!
