Finally had the chance to try Chicago Beefs. I dream about dipped beef sandwiches and this definitely made my dreams come true. They build em full and juicy! Complete with welcoming service and an excellent selection of snacks. We loved it – can’t wait to return.

Their Chicago beef thingy was amazing, I got mild. It was the perfect balance between beefy and veggie. The bread on it was very soft and easy to eat. I 100% recommend this place, although it was a little pricey. We got 2 of them with breadsticks for $37.

The name alone gives you a good idea of what to expect the menu to look like. I have a son with multiple food allergies and the staff on site were very accommodating to assist in finding food options that would work for my sons diet. There have been a couple glitches with orders in the past (like most restaurants), but their crew has always gone above and beyond to make things right. That’s a main reason why I’ll continue to come here. Oh yeah, and the food is pretty damn good too.

We had a great experience here and it really satisfies the need for a quick tasty bite of food! We stopped by for lunch and split one sandwich between two people. We asked them what they recommended and they graciously explained the options and made some great recommendations. We got a cheesy beef melt on the hoagie bread with extra cheese and hot giardinera. We loved the pickled mix and the spiciness. The au jour was very flavorful and everything was really tasty. I would definitely return to have a full sandwich and try something new.

Excellent food. Great staff. Clean place. Great vibe. I disagree with several previous reviews that claimed large portion sizes. The excellent sandwich is decent size, but, by no means, large. I was a little shocked at how small the personal pizza was. Basically the same size as a slice of pizza.

I’ve enjoyed Italian beef sandwiches for over 50 years everywhere in the greater Chicagoland area, and this very tender and juicy beef was DEFINITELY the best I’ve ever had. From the bread, to the perfectly seasoned beef, to the giardinara, ALL the ingredients are absolutely delicious! The crew was polite, professional, and fast with preparing my order. I highly recommend Chicago Beefs in Houghton, MI to anyone looking to satisfy their hunger with a truly amazing sandwich!
