Do not eat here, seriously don’t. I waited a whole TWENTY FIVE minutes for this food which is chicken nuggets and fries. The lady at the window after I finally got there gave me a disgusting straw with burnt grease. I was literally just watching the guy cooking and making orders everyone except mine. They didn’t tell me they were out of the funnel cake fries until I was about to pay too. They took so long they forgot what I even ordered and had to look at the receipt. I will never eat here again and encourage others to do the same. 0 stars if I could worst fast food place in all of Athens 100%.

DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS LOCATION. Me and my spouse attempted to order online given that the last time we visited this location we were advised by staff to do so because it would be faster. Upon placing the order our card was charged but when we arrived no one was actually in the restaurant. It took 15 minutes before someone showed up and when they finally did they told us the could not fulfill our order because they “didn’t have meat for your order”. Moreover the employee could not give us a refund for our order so not only could we not get our food we couldn’t get our money back. Horrible experience and a great example as to why this location closed in the past. Maybe it should have stayed that way.

I visited on Saturday night at around 11pm. I don’t go to Checker’s often so when I do I need a minute to look at the menu. The menu board lights were not working very well at the top, I could barely read the specials. The staff seemed a little short with me when I was trying to decide what to order. My order was fairly quick, accurate, and the food tasted ok.

Terrible employees and service. Burger meat has changed to what can best be described as undercooked school cafeteria opossum or horse “meat-like” paste or goo. Fries were nonexistent. Was told AFTER I paid to drive around the building again and wait for my “food” which took almost 30 minutes for them NOT to deliver. I had to go back up to the counter and remind them. And it goes without saying the shame machine was down. I will NEVER eat at another Checkers again due to their rude, ghetto employees.

I was picking up a delivery from here. The staff was amazing at making sure that everything was taped up with all the condiments from the order, . The bag of food was very hot and smelled really good. Seems like a good place to try.

I love Checkers and I’ll say recently the staff have been more polite than they were in the past. Given how short handed the employees were and how overwhelmed they were with door dash orders I have to say they did a decent job handling me in the drive thru and they got my order 100% correct but you could see and hear the frustration of the cooks inside because there was definitely too much business for just one cook especially considering they pay is probably not much higher than minimum wage. Food is always good just get these guys some help if you’re gonna slam them with Door dash and uber eats orders.

I really like Checkers food but the service has been on the decline. I stopped by this location yesterday around 5:40pm and was greeted by the A.I. order taker only to be cutoff by an employee saying that they were doing shift change and that it would be 15 minutes. That was the only thing that the employee said in a pretty aggressive manner. No “I apologize for the inconvenience” or anything like that. I was a little confused as to why the restaurant was doing a shift change at 5:40pm and thought that it was an excuse to try and chase off customers but then again I don’t know what time Checkers goes through shift change. I was really craving Checkers and already told my family that I was going to pick it up for dinner so I was going to just wait. The employee never returned to the speaker. There were 2 cars ahead of me, one at the window and they seemed to be getting frustrated as well. I decided to just leave and go to another restaurant for my food but because of the cars ahead of me I had to back a full size truck out of the narrow drive thru. This is one of my favorite fast food burger places but I will definitely not be returning. Given the constant decline in service from the employees that seem to be hating every minute of their shift, I really am kind of worried about the food quality of the food as well at this point. I hate self checkouts and self ordering at kiosks but I was honestly excited about the A.I. order taker when I came on my last visit prior to this incident. It was the first time in awhile that I wasn’t asked “will that be all?” every time I ordered an item. @ Checkers let me know when the restaurant is fully automated and maybe then I’ll give it another shot!

If I can give it Zero I would! The one will be for that new cashier, the manager Renee was condescending. You are telling me with buying me multiple meals one Including tenders you won’t give any sauces and want to charge. It was ridiculous. Considering that I spent a good bit of money the fact that they still wanted to charge for one sauce not a bunch of it just one and then had an attitude when I wanted an explanation of why they wanted to charge when I was ordering a lot of other items. really bad customer service no wonder they have bad reviews their service sucks and I will not be eating there again

I wish I could give this establishment a flat “0”. We went through the drive through on the right side and was told that this side was closed and to go back around. Okay we did this and we sat at the waiting for 20m while someone with no car was getting passed bag after bag of food and the “MANAGER and COOK” were outside cussing up a storm and smoking marijuana! Just as we went to drive off a woman came to the window and told us that she was not taking our order and she slammed the window and walked away. The manager walked in and started talking to the woman and completely ignored us at the window. Then the manager then went back outside and sat on the hood of a car with several other people. We drove off without getting anything. Then again who would want to eat from this establishment? I love Checkers…but this one needs to be shut down.
