Pretty much as you’d expect for a coastal place. Not fancy-definitely a local stable with not a lot of choices, and they know it. Service was not great-but not horrible. Food was pretty good. I had the NY strip – ordered medium – but came out well done. It was good but over cooked. It’s a seafood place so I understand a little. Most options were battered & deep fried. The shrimp platter was very good, as was appetizer platter. It’s worth going.

Food here is amazing! The prices man can’t get any better. They have a large variety of margaritas. Nice cold beer on draft. Seafood and steaks are to die for. Highly recommend. It’s always so busy so the waitress take a while to come back around to you. View is amazing is the large tug boats passing by.

Beautiful restaurant with an amazing staff! Food and drink options are nice! Prices are to be expected but nothing to write home about. Beer selection, mixed drinks and bar seating is pretty awesome. So many amazing views throughout the restaurant. Can watch tugboats to large barges pass by!

The outside bar/wait area was amazing. Enjoyed watching the sunset and having drinks until our table was ready. Now, when we sat to eat, the service was bad. Drinks were small and cost more, u could get a platter with crab yet not order a single crab????? Didn’t make sense. The island is small so not many spots to go yet worth it if you’re not wanting to cook at ur spot and want to watch the boats and sun set. Cool little game spot area.

Great stuff! Bbq crabs were a first, really cool flavor and unique experience. Nice place to take the family and be around people fishing, barges coming through, etc while eating. Seemed to be a little understaffed for as busy as they were, but could have just been father’s day. Definitely on the “go back next time” list!

Great views but limited seating to catch those views. I’ve been here before and had a 30-45 min wait each time and arrived at 5:30pm. They don’t take reservations so go early if possible. The appetizer sampler is really good. Fried catfish fair. Shrimp platter good. There’s some great photo op spots downstairs outside so don’t miss those. If you’re planning a weekend at the beach I do recommend this place be on your list.

Great views from everywhere in the restaurant. We had a large party so we waited about 20 minutes to get in which was not bad. The service was slow and could not answer some of our questions, with no offer to find out for us, a little disappointed there. The food was very good though, we all enjoyed our meals once we got them. Our family would definitely come back to Stingaree.
