The BEST Indian/Pakistani food you can find in GDL. 10/10 recommend. Get the butter chicken and try the dessert. The chai and mango lassi is incredible.

Excellent curry restaurant. Great atmosphere.

Slightly off the beaten path, Al Meraj Grill is a contemporary, polished venue.

Service is excellent and super friendly and the food is excellent, by local standards. Prices are a little on the high side, but well within reason given the outstanding quality of what’s being offered.

Pro Tip: the Mango Lassi is outstanding.

I love this place! I’ve had dine in and delivery. It’s my favorite food in Guadalajara, even if the spice levels are inconsistent. The food is fresh and delicious.

Most authentic food in Guadalajara. My fav is chicken acharati, mutton handi. Mutton paneer achari. Gulab jamun are good in size . Overall it’s a genuine price and good test food place. Highly recommended at first place for Indian food.

I loved their food… It has been my first Indian food experience, it was very good and delicious and we have also the agreement for Indian friend also 🙂
Just about the environment, this place will be better if it has any fan or conditioner air because it is hot place, hehe… From my point of view for food and service, it is excellent to try Indian food 🙂

Please don’t get fooled by the name. The Indian food isn’t good. Expensive and Too too spicy food. Probably they are using ready to eat products because nothing looks fresh. Lots of mosquitoes around and its Definitely not worth going.

Al Meraj is an open air restaurant with plenty of seating. The food was delicious and fresh. I had the samosas, a lental dish, a mixed vegetable dish and a lemon mineral drink. The food was very tasty and made to your level of spiciness. I will definitely visit Al Meraj again.

I ordered ginger chicken and, besides it being ridiculously spicy, about half the chicken was actually bones that I had to pick out. My wife’s butter chicken had way too little chicken in it for the price. The garlic naan bread was tough and chewy. There was nothing about this order that we were satisfied with. We’ll never order from them again!
