Cervantes is unassuming from the outside but once you go through those doors, it’s one of the most cozy atmosphere to enjoy superb New Mexican cuisine! Their carne adovado is one of the most comforting and tasty bite of food I’ve experienced to date. If you’re traveling in the area, I can’t recommend Cervantes enough!

Impressed! From the outside appearance I was expecting the typical Mexican restaurant with tables chairs maybe some Saltillo tile or hard floors and this place was like walking into a speak easy. Very cool feeling of the 70-80s searing. Food was good and service was friendly. Definitely give it a shot.

I enjoyed the food and getting to know the regulars. But I am disappointed about the portion size for the queso and stew. $5.00 for that size of bowl for queso. Its like a kids portion. Paid $10 for a large bowl looked like a kid size small bowl. I’ve been to other places and they give you a large for the same amount. I like the place, but I probably won’t spend much money there again.
