It is a very friendly place but the shrimp are from a box they are not fresh shrimp and the extremely expensive steak was tough to cut with a knife less alone try to chew. The $15 salad bar was delicious and you had delicious salad of every kind of imagination. As long as you don’t mind that price for a salad it was absolutely worth the price!

A crowded and busy venue but also welcoming with a relaxed atmosphere. They have a great porch sitting over the water to sit and wait. You can watch the catfish and turtles as you swing and wait for dinner. The food is enjoyable and the salad bar is unlike anything in the area. The service is friendly and consistent.

Food was good and the atmosphere of good ole country folks was the best. You can not find these types of restaurants anymore. Brought back a lot of memories of my upbringing. These were the type of eating joints I grew up visiting when we would go out yo eat. Thanks for good Food and Southern hospitality.

One of the best salad bars of just about any restaurant anywhere. Seriously. Making me hungry just writing about it.

The food was pretty good. The salad bar was exceptional and had the best blue cheese of my life. I had prime rib and enjoyed it. The fries were basic. Wife had the seafood platter and was happy with most of it. Deviled crab is bad everywhere. Catfish tasted like mud.

The service was okay, but the food was really tough and hard. And it was flavorless, I don’t think they even have salt or pepper back there. One of our fish plates were raw. Drinks were watered down (probably because 95% percent of what’s in the cups are ice). Salad bar was the only thing that was decent. Not very filling. (And what’s with all the Trump and confederate flags up? Half of the restaurant is buried in right-leaning political flags.)

So yummy we fed the ducks and fish while we waited for the yummiest steak make sure u ask for it a little less then u would normally get it they cook it a little over but it is so good and the salad bar is the best one yet everything u could want. The atmosphere is very hunter cabin like very cool inside. Make sure u take a trip to the deck outside. Worth the drive out of ur way if u like good food and adventures.
