UPDATE: They get the cheapest meats possibke. Shrimp is mushy, beef is all fat, pork chunks are very dry and hard. I ordered beef fried rice. Every sliver of beef was just fat, not one piece of meat was in the rice. I basically paid for and ate just fried rice. It’s unfortunate their food is flavorful, but this is extremely disappointing!
Ordered carry out for Singapore noodles and spring rolls. The spring rolls are tasty but soggy and the noodles were good but vert dry. Service is ok!

I usually love this place, but for something I order often here and many other places I’ve never had this happen to me. I got shrimp and broccoli and the shrimp they used was not in good condition. I took one bite and it melted into soft mush kinda like cotton candy. No bite couldn’t even taste the flavor which is usually great. They are a great place so I’ll say this is the first time this has happened. I spent gift money on a special treat for myself and I wasnt able to eat any of it. So hopefully I can speak to someone privately to see what we can do cause most of my whole orded isn’t edible.

Stopped here for a quick lunch yesterday while running some errands and so I’m happy I did. Tokyo Peking Express is located in Tamarac in the Publix plaza that has Xfinity. The restaurant feels very comfortable with nice seating, large tables and great lighting. You take your order at the front register and wait until they bring your food out to you. Everything is made fresh to order. I ordered the lunch special (sesame chicken, pork fried rice and an egg roll). I also ordered fried wantons and two cans of coke. One thing is for sure you will need to go boxes because it is a lot of food. I was also pleasantly surprised that even when I took some food home with me it still tasted fresh and warm. All and all I recommend Tokyo Peking Express if you are looking for great Chinese Food in the Sunrise/Tamarac area.

Average Chinese takeaway quality, generous portions. Sesame chicken was chewy. Food arrived hot and with all the necessary condiments. The girl taking the order was nice but was intimidated by the Chinese man standing up very close behind her watching over, poor girl. Overall experience 6/10

The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered Orange tufu, Udon noodle soup and Egg foo young. The restaurant was super clean. Large variety on the menu. Next time I will order the stir fried Udon noodles and a few more dishes from the menu.

Never again food was old like they had it under a heat light… Called them to ask about the issue they told me I’m sorry them come back and say we will give you 10% off your order … I just want fresh food. Do your self a favor a find another place to get food. It’s a shame because the old owners were awesome and this would of never happened. I should of knew once they started offering sea food it was time to find a new place. Shame on me …… Also look at some of the pictures other people have posted and they don’t look like anything I posted ….

Excellent food, but last time we ordered my dinner special was very small.
The prices have went up with less food in return.
A dinner special is usually half rice and half the portion of choice.
My meal looked to be half rice and half (Lo Mein, General Tso’s), but there was more rice underneath the portion of choice.
My wife and I both received 3/4 rice for both of our meals.
Just not enough food for a price hike in my opinion. My wife and I were still hungry when we usually have leftovers.

I frequented this restaurant all the time when I lived closer. I had the chance to visit recently and the quality is still very good. I purchase the General Tso Lunch Special w/ Soup. I was also surprised that they comoletely remodelled the interior and it looks super nice now! Two thumbs up.
