10/10 would recommend for the most amazing salad bar your eyes have ever seen! Menu food is great also! It’s a great eatery tucked into literally the middle of nowhere. The staff is friendly and there’s family-friendly live music usually. Didn’t realize but there’s a neighboring bar building where there’s live bands(sometimes a cover charge) and pool tables.

This place hits the perfect spot for that southern family diner you could be looking for. The staff are super friendly and the wait time wasn’t long. The drink sizes are huge and the food was great, the view and interactions here are a plus too.

The food was wonderful! Fresh, hot and well seasoned! The salad bar had everything you could want and some you wouldn’t expect. Everything on the salad bar was Fresh! They were busy and service was still good and our waitress was very nice!

Never had a bad experience in all the times we have been to Cedar Lane. The food is outstanding and so is the service!! Always look forward to eating there, and it’s always a special treat to eat there! Especially when the live music is going on!

Rural and rustic. Very casual. The salad bar that comes with your meal was great. The filet was nicely prepared at medium rare. They nailed it. However, the giant chunk of gristle that stretched within the length of the filet spoiled my experience. The service was prompt and good. The only negative was that the servers didn’t pick up the emptied salad plates from the table. The used dishes continued to stack up even as the main course arrived. The mega size bar attached to the restaurant looked like the place to be on a Saturday night.

The food was pretty good. The salad bar was exceptional and had the best blue cheese of my life. I had prime rib and enjoyed it. The fries were basic. Wife had the seafood platter and was happy with most of it. Deviled crab is bad everywhere. Catfish tasted like mud.
Service was slow and decor was abhorrent! Will not return because I don’t care for staring at confederate flags and political propaganda from the last 6 years. Too bad really, the place could have been a regular stop.
To the owners- He lost. Bigly. Get over it.

We drove an hour to test the hype. I have to say that salad bar alone was worth the drive. Most of my party had a ribeye. It was thick juicy and cooked perfectly. The taste was spot on. Loved it. My wife had seafood. The fish was just right. Our serverS took care of us wonderfully. Our experience was well worth the drive. We all thoroughly enjoyed our trip.

Love the salad bar! With or without the entree, you will, absolutely, leave full. Sitting on the edge of a pond with picture windows and a porch with rocking chairs allows patrons to view/feed the turtles and 2-3+ ft long catfish.

Varry large rustically decorated Steak and Seafood restaurant with a large, very well stocked salad bar. Restaurant situated on a beautiful large pond. The restaurant has a very long porch along the back of the dining room overlooking the pond from which you can see schools of very large carp, catfish and very large Turtles. There is fish food available for purchase inside the restaurant so that you can attract the fish for photographs and viewing. My wife’s whole catfish and my salmon fillet were very delicious, h the service was fairly quick considering the very large dining room. The restaurant is a great destination to have on a day trip.

I had to send the prime rib back TWICE! It waa rubbery and well-well done; I asked for med-rare. We had to flag down one of the 3 different waiters who served our table.
There were trump merch for sale and posters everywhere.
This restaurant was a bad dream.
