These Birria tacos are LEGIT. I can be pretty picky when it comes to my birria tacos and haven’t found any in Abilene worth purchasing again until now. A to-go order comes with 4 tacos containing the meat, cheese, onions, cilantro, and lime, consomme (broth you dip the tacos in), chips, and green salsa. For a total of $15. Very good!! Be sure to add the green salsa and lime to the taco before you dip to add even more flavor!

I had the Chile Rellano plate for lunch. The taste was OK but the plate was very soupy. Hot sauce was just ho-hum and not much spice or tanginess to it. A big issue that I had, and may just be a pet peeve of mine but for a single customer I was charged automatic gratuity and wasn’t given a receipt until I asked for it so please be aware this place will automatically add gratuity so there’s no need to leave a tip. They’re gonna take it from you automatically whether they deserve it or not, OK I’m off my soapbox and this place is OK but there are a few other local places that I would consider much better.

We went today for lunch. This is family owned so the owner greeted us with a smile! So friendly and the food was amazing! Everything is homemade and fresh! I had the fajitas and they are the best I’ve had! A+ for food service and atmosphere!
