My mom showed me this place when I was a kid. I use to love eating here, but hadn’t been since before the pandemic, so I was super excited to go back. That was until I got my order.

What a wonderful upgrade this establishment took. It felt sad at first to see the painting on the wall go away, along with the amazing bread that topped every table. But the salad upgrade is phenomenal, and the sauce is STILL absolutely delicious like it was throughout 1970’s til now! It was delicious Italian food like I remember. Definitely worth a stop to eat.

Pretty bland Italian food. Read reviews and went in here and got the chicken Parm and the spaghetti and it was pretty awful. The sauce was a thick coat of tomato paste and had barley any herbs or spices. The chicken was dry and tasted like it had been microwaved. The atmosphere in the building was depressing with no Italian music, basic brick wall, and Terrible lighting. The server was atleast nice and wasn’t a greasy Italian dude but everything else was pretty bad

This is one “Gem” of a restaurant. I love having lunch at “Carrusos” the atmosphere, music, service location and of course the food. The waiter is always nice, fast and professional. This really is one of my favorite spots in Albuquerque. I gladly give them 5 stars.

Terrible service waitress wasn’t that busy but she never checked on us. Never brought out our check. Food was terrible. 6 pieces of ravioli terrible sauce 0 flavor. Jar sauce would’ve been better and the price for a single slice of mushroom pizza wasn’t on the menu. I assumed it was no more than $7. When we went up up pay I learned it was $12! Seriously not worth it. We could’ve had an entire pizza for that price. $27 dollars wasted on trash food.

I find out about this place in 2019. Use to go there alot before covid. I food was great. But last night we went and the only thing that was good was the bread and salad. I ordered the fried chicken and got a Cornish hen. My granddaughter ordered the chicken Alfredo and it was bland. Service was not the best. To top it off my granddaughter was bite by a bed bug and they just acted like it was nothing and said it was a mosquito because one of the waiters said she got bite the night before. I will not be going there again. Beware if you go to dine in.

looks like it came out of the 1970s The food was great service was a little sluggish because I think they had just gotten off their lunch rush we were there like two in the afternoon food was excellent we ordered extra portions so we can take some home for dinner which worked out excellently I would recommend it to anyone hole in the wall restaurant but good food

Came in with my son, enjoyed complimentary bread, tomato basil soup, fettuccine Alfredo and a pepperoni pizza, finishing off with tiramisu. The bread was fair, but the rest of the food was great. I’m not a huge fan of their pizza sauce flavor profile, but it was still really good. My 12 year old son LOVED the pasta and inhaled his portion. The soup was delicious and tasted homemade, and the tiramisu was fresh and a decent portion compared to many places. The staff was prompt, friendly and helpful. Overall, I would come here again and enjoy the small family diner atmosphere. Also, the parking was directly in front of the restaurant so that was an added plus.
