I had the weekly special crab cake meal for $10. I especially enjoyed the hush puppies. They are sweet — but not overly sweet — and have just the right amount of onion. Great food and service.

Very unassuming the first time we drove past. Went in and it was packed! They were quick to acknowledge and give a wait time. Waitresses were all smiles and more than happy to help. Never felt rushed our whole visit.

My wife and I stopped by on our last night in Maryland. After we ordered our food my wife noticed a roach crawled from behind the menus placed on the table behind me. It crawled into the next booth to my left. Did not grab my phone fast enough to take a picture. The food we did taste was decent but a little more greasy for my taste. We took the food to go and there was no objections or apologies for the incident; and they did not seem surprised. I paid for the meal and left. Brought food back to my hotel on base, and my stomach starting to become upset and I stop eating the food and disposed of it not eating half of it. I would be cautious when visiting this establishment and make sure you don’t take any pets with you.

Went to Captain Pats for the first time since I opened had a few happy customers commenting on the food when I first got there to begin with. Ordered the fried seafood platter crab cake and oysters were LG and filling. Platter was loaded and fish was fried on point. Tarter sauce was creamy good flavor. Staff member was courteous left my wallet in bathroom and she immediately volunteered to retrieve it. All in all better than before.
