At our Cincinnati, OH location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Not much remains of the old Twin Fair Plaza but Captain D’s is still hanging around. Friendly crew with plenty on shift though workload could have been better distributed with less frontline help. Food was well prepared if you like fried and greasy which I do on rare occasion.

Excellent customer service – I grew up near Norwood but haven’t lived there in several years so I expect to be treated like an outsider when I go back. This Captain D’s, however, was full of very friendly staff who went out of their way to help me while I was there. I highly recommend this location and also would like to thank the ladies who were so nice to me. It was a truly pleasant dining experience.

I repeat don’t eat here they are so slow their attitude is nasty. This chick in the drive through name Shay bad attitude everyone kept playing taken long. If that ain’t bad enough my food wasn’t done all the way cause of that I got food poisoning. They drop half cook fries so I had half cooked friese on top of old fries please close this place down.

Always running out of stuff and when i was ordering my food the ghetto girls come out the back looking to see who ordering like they was salty i wanted food. I don’t trust people she could of been spitting on my food or something so i pulled off, im cool i didn’t want it. Fire the whole young staff seems like everybody wants to get paid but don’t want to do their job. I’ll just go to ‘long John silver’s’ their closer anyway.

If you don’t value your time and don’t mind waiting 40 minutes inside a dingy and depressing “fast” food restaurant for tasteless fried food served with a side of rudeness, then definitely go here. My first time here, I just ordered an appetizer. So bad it wasn’t worth the calories. Clams had no clam taste and shrimp had no shrimp taste. Threw most Out.
