Sherree is an asset to this establishment. So genuine and professional. We had an issue with our food and Sherree made it right. As we sat and waited on our food, it was obvious that she makes this place run. She was so attentive and nice to the other customers as well and made sure everybody was taken care of. Our fish was old. As soon as my husband big into it he spat it right out. He could taste the ammonia in it. I tore my fish in half and it smelled horrible. Super upset about that. The girl at the drive thru was super sweet though. Food was definitely made to order but that dish was definitely spoiled.

Waited over 30 min for a food at clanton. watched 10 new people get served who cane after us. They seen us standing there and didn’t ask if we were ok. After getting their attention they they cancled our order. No apology, nothing. Just made us wait longer and seemed to not care.

It’s upsetting when you see an older gentleman who kindly asked for a refund for waiting more than thirty minutes to get his food that never came and everyone else was served, the manager (short very skinny girl I believe with glasses) borderline cuss him out and yell at him. I guess he finally got his refund and left after she even told the cashiers to not give him the refund, I’m sorry but that’s stealing. And when talked to other employees there well after the incident when we were leaving they said it’s become the norm there with that particular manager. So tells me it’s been done before and brought to the attention of higher management and she has not been fired. We will not be back for a long time to the chilton county location. This is sad! Please do better!

Tonight was not our best experience at Captain D’s. Food took almost 35 minutes to make and when it finally came out it was over spiced and rushed threw you could tell. My spice wasn’t even cooked on it was like it was added after it was cook and I could blow the spice and it fluff off. Shrimp was the same way.

I just watched a man have to wait 30 minutes for his food while everyone else got there food, including mine. I watched as he got up, rightfully upset, to ask for a refund and the manager told the guy, “Fill out an application if you want your food out any faster. We are short staffed.” Short staffed or not, you don’t act that way toward a customer even if you are short staffed.
