Second time here and this time I went through the drive thru waited for 5mins and no one answered I go inside and these little kids are all talking in the back doing absolutely nothing. The restaurant is a huge mess! So sad how theres no adult is here managing these little kids. Super dirty! Super unorganized, kids on their phone and food tasted disgusting the rice was all hard. The owner, store manager who ever runs this place needs to get it under control!

This is the first Cafe Rio that I will never be back to. Two teenagers are pretty much running the place but you will be ignored when standing in front of them. Waited 35 min for food when it was just my husband and I and one other couple (should’ve left when the guests told us to enjoy waiting for an hour”. Finally got our food (which we had to ask for because no one told us it was ready, just to drive all the way back home to see these two TINY pieces of “steak” in a huge taco shell with a lot of toppings.. p!sd I’d an understatement!

First and last time I will ever visit this location. The young man had to take my order due to the discount. Didn’t listen to the order at all. So of course my food was wrong. After going back the 3rd time to get everything that should have been on my plate, I get to the chicken which is under a huge mound of lettuce just to find out the chicken was so burnt and dry that it was too hard to eat.

If I could give zero stars I would. They always mess up your order, terrible attitudes, slow service, and rude. Savannah was rude an another employee in front of me and she stated to me that she’s tired and has been working since 7am (she’s the manager). Then, I get home and they completely forgot my protein, steak and chicken, which they charged me for both. When I went back, they didn’t try to rectify the situation. Instead, was charged $3 for a side of steak! Never again going back

This is my third attempt at giving this location a chance since I live in Verrado and it’s more convenient than the Watson location. They have totally messed up my 2 previous orders through the drive thru so I decided to walk in and order this time. There is ZERO customer service. Instead, there are kiosks set up to order. The options on the kiosks don’t give you many of the options that are available to order at the other locations. I ordered the best I could and then verbally asked the younger gal working if she could make sure the burrito had the red hot enchilada sauce on the top and if we could get a side of cilantro. She said it wouldn’t be a problem (she was the only employee with any customer service). I received the order and took a glance before I left to make sure it looked right. The burrito looked right, but I immediately saw tortilla strips on top of the tostada, which I specified on the kiosk I did not want. It wasn’t a ton so I figured I could just pick those off. The rest of the to go bowl was all lettuce so I had no idea what else awaited me when I got home. I included a photo of the receipt and will state what was not included in the order:

My first experience at Cafe Rio an it ranks on top of any bad experience I’ve had anywhere. I can’t express enough the lack all around. Under cooked on 1 meal. Over cooked an burnt on the other. The third person that was with us said it was the most horrible meal from Cafe Rio he’s had. The 4th got messed up 2 times ordered something else an it was just as bad. Wasted 100$ an should have gone elsewhere. Not to mention the inability to handle basic situations. I would rather snag something at frys.

Horrible experience. Went through drive thru and was asked to park and wait for food. It was atleast 30 min wait for 2 tacos, 1 salad and a chips queso. Paid 7 plus bucks for the queso and it was disgusting… if they would have just told us at the window we could have sat down in a restaurant for the time and price but better quality. Had to go back in for utensils and had to flag down someone after standing there another 5 mins. Was not impressed at all.
