I want to love this place, but if you are gluten free or vegetarian there are almost no options. I usually get the nachos and they are never consistent. Sometimes amazing and sometimes pretty yuck depending on who made them and how they distributed the toppings. The staff are above the top for this type of restaurant. 5/5 on staffing

I don’t know about other people, but you guys… their salad is amazing…!!! It was super filling. It came in a fresh tortilla with well seasoned rice and beans along with fresh veggies, crispy tortillas chips and how can I forget the yummy dressings. Loved it…!! I am a vegetarian, so I didn’t have a lot of options, which is why I decided to give their salad a try and I am in love….!! Coming from a person who hates salad lol. I loved their mint limeade as well. Super refreshing. I AM A FAN…!! Thank you, guys.

I always get fresh and delicious food every time from here. I came in today 6/29/23 around 12p.m. and I think he’s the manager, but the gentleman with arm tattoos (lol) was very friendly and professional. I noticed he went around to the tables and was asking customers including myself how their meal was and cleaningup the area. If that’s not customer service &going above and beyond, I don’t know what is. He needs a raise from whatever he’s getting paid!

Cafe Rio was ‘What’s for Lunch?’ on Sunday after church. The order line works like a Subway, but the food is much better. It moves along. Tortillas are fresh made as you watch, the veggies are fresh daily and the food is served as it would be along the river which is the namesake. Expect to pay more for this. Dinner for 7 was over $60. The salad was served in a fresh tortilla with a choice of entree meat, and a dressing choice. Rice and beans and steak, as the meat, are upgrades.

They lose customers like me daily because they have 3 people working throughout the busiest times of the day. WAY slower then chipotle. It’s sad because the food is actually good. Order online only.

Finally tried this place and it wasn’t the best. My food was very fresh, but was ruined with two HEAPING ladels of the tomatillo salsa…everything was swimming in it and very soggy 🙁 not a lot of topping options anyway. Also, the tostada was super small compared to the container and toppings. Not sure why they don’t use a larger one. Likely will not be back

I’ve always very much enjoyed Cafe Rio. However, since after this pandemic, the prices there are much higher than they were in the past. I understand the inflation and all but $35 for lunch for two which included one order of nachos with beef and two tacos with rice and beans and one drink. Frankly I was stunned.

We were actually looking for a Qdoba, couldn’t find it so we wandered in. So happy we did. Way better and fresher than Qdoba. Daniel waited on us and he was awesome. Had us sample the pollo asado and we were hooked. I had a Pollo asado burrito and my wife had tacos. The hand made tortillas made this one of the best tacos I’ve ever had and I’ve eaten a ton of tacos. Ask for Daniel he’ll take good care of you.
