We walked right in and ordered. The food came out in a timely manner. It was okay and not a very memorable experience. I don’t remember seeing much BBQ on the menu. My husband enjoyed his shrimp sandwich. I got the wings. They did not fall off the bone but were rather chewy. My husband enjoyed his sandwich a lot.

This is a small bistro type restaurant. We were greeted warmly. Ordered at the counter and they patiently answered our questions about their various dishes. They offer a wide variety of sandwiches, bbq plates, appetizers and other items. We tried the Canadian Style Poutin appetizer, a Cuban sandwich platter and a BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger platter. It was very good. Our picture only shows one half of the monster Cuban sandwich. No room for desert this time around, but they looked trying on another visit.

Literally some of the best food we had all of our trip. Pictured is their monster po boy that could for sure be shared with a friend. A-MA-ZING!

Great little locals joint. Come in, place order, sit down and wait for great food to come to you.

The landlord renting that space to the bistro needs to wake up. Fix the AC! This restuarant is an institution. The best lunch in the area. Our entire construction crew gets excited when the job is in the Perdido area. Start doing the “We goin Butches” dance… 😉 I want to be buried with a Patty Melt and Cajun Fries!

If I could rate this at 0 stars I would, I do not know what has changed or if it has always been like this, but my mother got a chicken sandwich and there is NO chicken, just breading. Please see the attached picture. She paid for a chicken sandwich and received stuffed breading. That amounts to deceiving your customers.

This place should remove the word “BBQ” from their name. I had the Texas Roadhouse burger. My wife had the Cali Burrito, and my 2 year old had a kids PB&J with french fries. The Texas Roadhouse was the worst of everything on the table. The brisket on it was the worst brisket I’ve had in my life. I ended up taking it off the burger. I was disappointed because I watched the owner bring in the smoked meats from the small pellet smoker in the front. The rub was not apparent, the brisket was cut too thinly, and it was overcooked by hours- giving it a very rubbery texture. It had a nice smoke ring to it but the Smokey flavor was missing. The burger also featured a cold slice of cheddar which would have been more inviting had it been melted. The Cali burrito was underwhelming. The chicken was moist and flavorful but it lacked in other ingredients and seasoning and the fries almost ruined it. The PB&J was, well, a PB&J. The bread they use is very soft so that was a plus. The fries are a huge disappointment. They were dark in color, as if being friend in old, dirty oil. The Cajun seasoning needs salt badly. Overall, my french fry-loving 2 year old wouldn’t even eat them. Just a completely disappointing meal. They don’t have soda machines, which is almost a must for any restaurant. The service was nice and the facility was clean. I liked that I could see their ingredients in the fridge and it was clean and well organized. Prices are appropriate. All in all, it was not a place I’d recommend but good effort by the staff and owners. Lots of room to improve, but they also have the potential to be great if they made small improvements.

Is it a looker? No! But who cares the food is DELCIOUS! Priced well and quality is superb! The service was quick and super friendly. We got our food fast and there was 5 of us. I had the po’ boy shrimp sandwhich. The bread was fresh and soft. The shrimp was fresh and grilled to perfection. Homemade potato salad was awesome. The gang loved everything they had. We hope to come back again before our vacation ends.

I was not impressed. The brisket tasted gamey. It was served in a styrene plate with plastic utensils. The only thing good was the unsweetened ice tea, but how hard is that to get wrong. I would not go back.

This place is amazing! Some of the best barbecue I’ve had ever. They have specials daily and is always packed. The varieties and options is limitless. In these photos I’ve uploaded is bowl of chili, bowl of red beans and rice, boudin balls, pulled pork bbq sandwich, and their specialty sandwich slaw p butch. I will definitely be coming back.
