Loved the space to work and have dinner. Great coffee, loved my blue pea latte and the vegan nachos were great! Overall a big selection of vegan options in the menu which is nice to find. Very attentive service too.

Everything was amazing. Went here as a pitstop…ended up eating, getting two drinks when I said only one, and fully distracted and emerged into my the books they had. Everyone who also comes in and dines here is very pleasant and friendly which made this location “Made With Love”. Manny the bartender was extremely caring and has amazing service with his guest.

Enjoy having a meal with my friend at the outdoor patio. (I remember the last time outdoor patio was under construction.) The service was great and food was good. Highly recommended to get a table seat outdoor patio during nice weather and it also have ceiling fan to keep cool. All is good.

The food was great. I had the catfish, greens and grits and my husband had the shrimp and spicy chorizo pasta. The atmosphere was great. This was my first time ever going to a Busboys and Poets location. The customer service in the book section was great. I wish I remembered his name but I sure do remember his face just because he wa so kind. I will be trying other locations because I heard that each location has its own vibe. I will definitely return to this location after I go to the other locations.

I went to busboys and poets in Hyattsville and had a Cubano sandwich. The sandwich was very good but not nearly the best cubana that I’ve had. The garden salad however, was excellent and I highly recommend it . My companions enjoyed their meals and the service was excellent. The prices were reasonable, spending $65 including tip to feed 4. I expect that I will visit this location again in the future.

Edit: Note to self, never come on Sundays. Bar tenders are rude and aren’t as nice as the ones during the week. Never coming back on a Sunday. Terrible experience today.

The food was great, as was the customer service. It was my first time here and we were seated quickly during peak time on a Saturday after and serviced quickly as well. The food was very good. I got the French toast, which I enjoyed and my sister got the GF pancakes which she said were very good as well.

We’ve eaten dinner here twice and it’s always perfect. Tempeh sandwich, nachos (pictured), and avocado sandwich (pictured) were personal favorites. Vegan beef stir fry, and quinoa dish were also amazing vegetarian options. The meat eaters in our group enjoyed the blackened salmon (which was thankfully not too blackened). We all shared the crunchy asparagus that came on the side. Poets pilsner on draft is refreshing. Everyone is so helpful and friendly here. Quick service with a smile. Outdoor seating is a must although indoors is super cute too. Will try again for brunch and cannot wait!
