Food was terrible and sad. We paid $35 for 3 double cheeseburgers 2 large oinion rings and 3 shakes. And to be honest the shakes are the size of a McDonald’s kiddie cup, the burgers are the size of a slider, and the onion rings tasted like old fryer grease and a pound of salt. Whats happened to our food service and quality these days. Pay 3 times the amount for a 1/4 of the size shakes we used to get a few years ago…. but who do you complain to honestly that will actually get something fixed?

Stopped by the drive thru for breakfast. I ordered a small combo with orange juice. I was told to pull to first window. I paid there and asked for a receipt, but was told to pull to second window to wait for order and I could get receipt there. I was handed my order, but no receipt. I asked for it, and again had to wait for the employee Gladys to change the register tape. She finally gives a receipt that is cut off and not legible. I explained that I needed a receipt that could be read. She said she couldn’t give anything different because of the “small paper.” I asked for a manager. She stated that she was the manager! I notice an extra charge on the receipt, that I couldn’t read. She says “Oh, I have to charge you for medium or large because we have no small containers.” How can you charge me for something that I didn’t order, because YOUR business doesn’t have adequate supplies? Bottom line, pay attention to your orders and receipt.

I have visited this location 3 times. And 2 of the 3 times I could almost swear my burger was heated in a microwave. Piping hot. Soggy bread. Steamed taste to the burger itself. I am a BK regular, so I have a feeling they are using this practice. Otherwise, restaurant is always clean. Quiet atmosphere. But, unfortunately, I will not be returning to this location.

The Burger King on Van Dyke Rd is one of the best locations around! The restaurant is always clean, quick, and consistent, and the food quality here is excellent. I especially loved the Classic Chicken Wrap — it was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly crispy without being greasy. It’s easily one of my new favorites on the menu. Everything else, from the fries to the drinks, came out hot and just right.
The staff is friendly and professional, always making sure orders are accurate and customers are taken care of. The service is quick both inside and in the drive-thru, even during busy hours. The dining area is spotless, comfortable, and has that classic Burger King feel.
You can tell this location is well-managed because everything runs smoothly and consistently. If you’re in the Lutz area and craving great fast food with excellent service, Burger King on Van Dyke Rd is the one to visit. Definitely a five-star experience every time!

Ordered the new crispy onion whopper and was told after paying they didn’t have the crispy onion so they gave me a cheaper whopper instead. Wow just realized no cheese on my whopper. Now I remember why I stopped going to this BK. While standing waiting for the food I must have heard I’m sorry a dozen or more times.

I wasnt expecting much, but when we ordered 2 Impossible whoppers, they came out actually looking like the commercial. They werent squished or anything. They tasted so good. The lady at the window was also really nice.

Today, we decided to eat at Burger King located at: 3911 Van Dyke Road, Lutz, FL 33558 Store #10676.
This location requires a mask to be worn within the facility. First impression was the cleanliness and being greeted right away from the shift manager. He was patient and we had a great conversation during the ordering process.
The flow of the operations felt very fluent. The manager was calling out orders with the crew confirming, while providing statuses. This steady stream of communication continued during my wait, as we ordered as a ‘take out’.
My biggest reason for a 3-star rating is the appearance of the food (see bullets and images below), rather than the performance (or lacking thereof) of the crew / staff.
1. One sandwich could have sparred some mayonnaise.
2. The other sandwich had cooked burnt lettuce and it ruined the sandwich for me. Not sure why the lettuce is destroyed. Might as well not even put any on there.
Recommendations I’d like to see on my next visit.
R1: A proportionate amount of condiments on the sandwich.
R2: Lettuce in it’s normal and fresh crunchy structure.

There service is horrible. Can’t get orders right. Ordered 3 items and recieved 2. Food tasted like it was made yesterday. These fast food restaurants want to charge a ton of money, but they cant orders correct and the food taste like crap. Ridiculous
