Extremely delicious food. My husband met the owner, Burford himself, and said he was an extremely pleasant man who took great pride in his business. The food was amazing! We loved the pork belly but ends and the brisket. We will most definitely be back! Best BBQ around and wonderful customer service.

Really impressed with the food and service was friendly and fast. My first time here and ordered the half slab dinner with the spicy sauce, baked beans and cheesy mac and cheese. At first I thought it was a bit pricey but you get a lot of food. Broke this up into two meals so price is reasonable. I was also surprised to see they included small portion of desert and cornbread, both very good. Not sure if this was because it was my first time or if it is normally included but it was an unexpected and a nice surprise.

Guess what? Everyone a new spot to check out in Frankfort,IL. Buford’s is a perfect addition to the community and the selection of flavors are great. Whether it’s a snack or a large order to feed the family, they are willing to accommodate.The wait time was almost non existent. Either way with the homemade chips we had no problem relaxing and enjoying ourselves.The food was good! We had the pulled pork sandwich, burnt ends, hot link, macaroni and cheese, baked beans, jalapeño corn muffins and the peach treat ….. psst they serve Beer & Bourbon too.

What a great surprise this place is! We picked up a take out order with a variety of items and loved it all. The Buford’s Behemoth Brisket Burger and the Brisket Sandwich were fantastic and loved the macaroni and cheese and baked beans. We ordered the Smothered Cottage Fries and ribs and could barely eat them because we were stuffed (the portions are huge!) but they were delicious, as were the sauces. Side note: We realized after we got home that we were missing a half rack of ribs. When I called, they couldn’t have been nicer about it and insisted on delivering a full rack of ribs, despite the fact that I said it wasn’t necessary. They were here in 15 minutes, piping hot! Outstanding customer service and amazing food. I hope Buford’s is here to stay!

Just moved into the area, thought we would try them. Picked sandwiches up and drove 5 min home. Pulled pork & beef brisket meat was cold, not even slightly warm. Coleslaw is nasty. Husband drove back with his. I was hungry so I ate mine cold. Got his sandwich refunded. Will NEVER go there again.

Baby back ribs seem warmed over and dry. The dusted cottage fries are more like chips. They were quite salty and not fresh or crisp. Baked beans have no flavor. Mac & Cheese was bland and again dry. Green beans were OK. Chicken wings had a strange texture. I wish I could find something positive but it just wasn’t the case. My best guess is that the food is pre-made and sits under a heat lamp until sold.

New addition to Frankfort and the BBQ could not be any better. So far I have tried the smoked wings, Pork Belly burnt ends, ribs and all of their sides. Their meat is fantastic, the sides were wonderful. Everything was smoked perfectly and their rub is tasty. I hope our Community becomes frequent customers and keeps them around for a long time to come.

What a clunker. They advertise being open until 8pm. Just ordered AND PAID FOR Grubhub order. Just got email that my lrder was cancelled due to the restaurant being closed. Oh and even though it took 3-5 seconds for my payment to complete it will now take 3-5 business days to see the refund. A complete joke and cant wait to pass this on word of mouth. You could even see the poor Grubhub driver making their way to the restaurant.

This is some great BBQ in my opinion, brisket and pulled pork tender and tasty on Texas toast, hot links were as advertised…hot, sauce was just right in the middle of mild and spicy. The chips were also very good, mix of sweet and salty. No I’m not a restaurant critic nor an employee, just like me some good BBQ

Do not order their mac n cheese. Tasted like plain noodles and had SO much oil at the bottom. The employee saw me dumping the oil out but didn’t say anything. The sauces weren’t good and their pork was just okay. The Steer Hogs before them was 10 times better.
