Food is great but for the serving size it is on the pricey side. I also ordered a small lemonade and it took me 2 huge sips and it’s all empty. They fill up your cup with lots of ice. Check the photo that I took. So much ice man!

the first time I ordered here was decent. I have eaten at the location in W. Hollywood and it was great and the staff attentive. This location has definitely turned me off. The prices are still the same (roughly $10-12 for a small burger) but the product and the service were much less satisfactory. Don’t bother.

We discovered this place by accident just strolling through the mall. the food was great, looked fresh and tasted even better. Way better than the burger place near by. The service was good, we place our order and then received a text when ready pick up, no standing there waiting. We will definitely be back to try more of their menu.

Shake shack in Manhattan Beach. In a word “Hated It”. I try not to use that phrase when it pertains to food but what did I expect? After all some friends spoke very highly about this establishment so I was eager to sample it’s burgers. My wife had a regular cheese burger with lettuce, tomato, onions no pickles and I had the stack shack primarily a cheese burger with a couple of slices of mushrooms. We shared some fries and choose 2 chocolate malts. The ambiance is quite casual and minimalist with an outdoor area for dining which was perfect for us because inside was rather chilly. Back to the food. It’s just not “Good”. The mushrooms were difficult to chew as they seemed leathery and unpleasant looking once I disassembled my sandwich to inspect it’s composition. My wife’s simple cheese burger was met with practically the same criticism. Our fries though crinkle cut was obviously previous frozen not fresh cut at all and finally the chocolate malts were marginal. Making a hamburger great shouldn’t invoke a “Nebulous Concept”… Good meat grilled well good cheese, buns and any accoutrement to round out your flavor pallet. On a scale of 1 to 5 this one rates a 1.

Nothing like the original NY shake shack. Meat was burnt and the person at the front handing out the orders was super lost, he was nice, but I had to tell him everything in my order and that some things were missing. The meal was so aweful it put us off of shake shack forever. It was fast food at it’s worst. Would not recommend (at least the one in the mall was terrible).
