My daughter and I were looking for a quick bite while visiting and saw Buddy’s barbecue. Blown Away at the Quality and taste! It was just perfect. Totally beat the hundred dollar meal we had last night at a really nice restaurant.

I just received my order from Buddy’s BBQ through Waitr. Oh WOW!!! This is quite possibly the BEST BBQ I’ve ever had! If “Delicious” were a word with a million taste buds singing Hallelujah behind it, it would be the perfect adjective to describe the food. My coworker and I shared brisket, sausage, and burnt ends with sides of potato salad, garlic potatoes, and baked beans. Everything is fantastic! If they make their own BBQ sauce, then they should promptly bottle and sell it, if they aren’t already! Smooth, smoky, spicy, sweet! PERFECT! Buddy’s BBQ is everything you want in BBQ. I’m looking forward to trying the ribs and chicken on our next order! Bravo, Buddy’s! Bravo!

The meat is good, but sides need some work. Sides taste like they came from a can. Need better side options also, but if you’re in the mood for nachos their pulled pork nachos are awesome!

Saw the article about the owner having Memphis roots, and being from the Memphis area I was intrigued to see if it’s close to Memphis BBQ. It’s kinda a hybrid mix of Texas, Memphis, and Cajun. The pulled pork wasn’t even close to Memphis style, but the brisket was great, would make Texas folks proud. The one and only sauce they offer is really sweet instead of the savory sauce that most Memphis BBQ sauce taste . Overall not bad, better than most of the weak attempts to create Memphis bbq.

Got pulled pork nachos, got home they forgot the jalapenos and just put the cheese in a side cup, whatever not a big deal. Food tastes pretty bland though, for the price they charge it was enough to encourage me to leave a review.

The place is still setting up as of my last visit, not all menu options were available. Prices were reasonable and the portions are decent. Tried the sausage and brisket, both were tasty and definitely warrants further sampling.

I ordered Togo food through waitr from buddy’s. The food was average at best. They left out two of my sides that I paid for. When I contacted the restaurant about it they refused to acknowledge fault, refund part of my total or even remake the sides for redelivery. I will never order from this restaurant again.

Stopped in to check out the new place in town, and was pleasantly surprised! I tried the pulled pork sandwich. It was piled high with pulled pork and the sauce was slightly sweet and ample. Truly delicious! I will be back
