McDonald’s in Huntley is horrible . The one over by Walmart. I went there this morning , was asked if I was using the mobile app and I said no. I proceeded to place my order and did not get no response. I drove around to window and the young lady inside saw me and acted as though she didn’t and never once asked could she help me. I will just take my business to Dunkin donut or the friendly McDonald’s on Randall road by woodman’s.

Went through the drive thru today, was asked for my code of course from my mcdonalds app.. gave the code. Got put on wait for about 5 minutes at the drive thru finally get back and am told they need to redo the whole order. No problem. So repeat my order, repeat it back to them multiple times and of course it was still messed up. I work in McDonald’s at a different location and it isn’t hard to get an order right and make sure. Your not following your protocol apparently and it shows. Order was small too and when you click on the mobile order button after you select it you just click the pay at window button, my order was completely fine from the app and somehow it gets messed up due to someone not doing their job.

They they advertise your product and then when you go to get it, don’t have it. 7 o’clock on Wednesday nights and they are sold out of grimace shakes in Huntley. They have literally had them on the market for 24 hours. Thank you for ruining another experience for children McDonald’s.

I ended up being very pleased with this McDonald’s. Initially I was having trouble navigating the app as I was trying to place an order on my phone. One of the employees (maybe a manager? I don’t know) came to my rescue. The app was very slow to react to my choices, but I finally placed my order. When the food came out, I had inadvertently ordered 4 double cheese burgers. (I ordered a 2-for-1 deal but in the confusion of the app’s screens, I must have ordered 2 of the special deals. I explained this to the employee who first offered to keep them warm until I was ready to leave (we were eating in), which I accepted, and then she came to our table and offered to refund me their cost. I accepted. When she brought me the value in cash, she also gave me a coupon for a free meal. That was really above and beyond customer service, in my opinion. So although I was very frustrated with the McDonald’s app, I was very pleased with this restaurant and the employees.
