Such a great little burger joint! Food is amazing. Burgers are fresh and seasoned to perfection! Hot and tasty fries too! We stuck with burgers for our first time, but we’ll definitely be back for the Brisket tacos and the wings. If you are in the area craving a burger, this is the spot for you! Winter weekends, seating may be tight, but looks like they have a great patio area for summer! Don’t miss out!!!

Small dining space but not too busy at this time of year so you felt like you could stay and eat without rushing. Recommendations are from the group I was with. Wow really good food!! We ate on the patio in October and that was perfect. We got the loaded fries and then the olive burger and the rowdy cowboy burger. Both were super tasty and filling. The fries hit the spot. I would so be back if I’m in the area. Oh and the service was impeccable. The guy was prompt and clearly worked hard not just for us but people sitting near us too!

I am a native to the Montague/Whitehall area. While up visiting family, we ordered burgers from the Gnarly Heifer. We we absolutely impressed with the quality of this food. It is an excellent addition to the area. Burger and fries were great. We ordered online which was convenient. It was a Saturday Night so they were quite busy but all employees were working hard to serve the guests. I Highly recommend giving them a try!

Recently visited the White Lake area for vacation.
This place was so good that we ate there 3 times during our 10 day visit.
The Gnarly Burger is absolutely the best burger I have ever had. The double meat burger was juicy and perfectly cooked. It’s topped by a generous amount of cheese, bacon, and the delicious “gnarly sauce”. The fries were great; crispy and nicely seasoned. Served with the a serving of gnarly sauce for dipping.
The service was great and the place is clean and nicely decorated.
I’ll definitely stop here again my next visit to the White Lake area!

Up here in Michigan for work, looking for a place to eat lunch and this place was open on Thanksgiving, the people were super friendly and the food was amazing, not to mention FREE. Would love to come back and try a burger.
