Our family decided to check out this ice cream shop. It didn’t disappoint. There are a lot options cones, sundaes, blast, pies and cakes. There is seating out front. Great place to soak up some sun and enjoy a cold treat. There is a drive through but it brings back memories to use the walk up option.

My favorite place for ice cream in Augusta, hands down! Fresh made ice cream that isn’t too sweet but hits the spot. They have a variety of options for shakes, sundaes, blasts, cups and cones. Drive through or sit outside at a picnic table for a sweet treat. They also have a good food truck that I’ve had the pleasure of catching at events. Highly recommend them for your next dessert craving!

Today I was craving ice cream and decided to go to Brusters…first off let me start off by saying as soon as the young lady opened the window I could smell the waffle cones!! Then she handed me my ice cream in a bag with a napkin and spoon…talk about great service! 10/10 I will certainly be back.

The wait was ridiculously long for walk-up service despite appearing to be fully staffed, no one waiting for there order and very few people ahead of me. For 4min I watched 3 employees just talk. When I finally ordered, I found myself repeating my self 3x. I finally asked, “can you hear me”…the attendant replied, “no” and when asked “why wouldn’t you tell me” she simply shrugged her shoulders ♀️. Aside from that, my order came out super fast and I enjoyed my blizzard.

We just paid $15 for this…. Not even a full scoop of ice cream per person and only AFTER we paid for the Dino sundae did they mention they were out of the cookies, no effort to replace it or make up for it. This was supposed to be a rare, special treat for my kiddos and it’s disappointing.

I’m vegan… Only for seven months now and had literally just heard a radio commercial saying that Bruster’s has now vegan selection or options until I went in and yes it’s true they do have options in rotation I wish that the commercial has said that at this location they only had two options in rotation one just happened to be one that I was looking at on the menu so I was thankful I believe it’s called peanut butter banana ripple and Vanilla… (I don’t do vanilla) so my ice cream was really good I liked it. I would absolutely get that flavor again my gripe is that for you to advertise vegan selections you really should have more than two in rotation if they are not going to carry all… I think it was literally 10 or 12 options if you’re not going to have all of those available at one time I guess I can understand that but, to only have two to choose from and one of the two is simple vanilla….. NOOOO.. Boooo! Lol
