This is our first time here, I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza, my wife got the salad, while the ingredients were clearly fresh, they didn’t even remove the ends of the lettuce which are bitter or stems, which for the price, it should be. The pizza, while cooked well, had very basic flavor, not bad by any means but needed something to top it off. The service was great. Out waitress was attentive. Took a while for food which we expected.

Loved the food. Their appetizer, aka “shared plate,” Brix chips is amazing. I also had their house salad. It comes with a citrus vinaigrette dressing. I did have to ask for more dressing because it came with very little but with the additional dressing it was delicious. My friend had the classic burger with the salad. She was impressed also. It was a bit crowded but our waitress was very attentive.

My family and I went here for dinner for the first time. It is very cold inside and we sat in the outside area that provided natural heat from outside.

Since they just opened, I am being very generous with my review. I understand it takes time to get things to run smoothly, processes down, etc. We went during the evening happy and they were not busy at all. I would say 4 other tables had guests. I got the Wilcox cocktail, which is basically a margarita and it was delicious. The drink was very small though and if they are the same size on non happy hour times I wouldn’t get it again for the regular price. For food we got the smoked cheddar fondue, cesar salad and margarita pizza. The smoked cheddar is very smokey and the bread was a nice compliment. The cesar salad was very poor quality and I actually didn’t eat it. The margarita pizza was pretty good, a little soggy in the middle but the crust was nice and crunchy. The pizza was pretty salty, especially the crust. There was at least 9 staff members we saw, 3 servers, 1 host, 1 manager, 1 bartender and at least 3 kitchen staff. Our server was very friendly but the service was incredibly slow. Took a little over 20 mins after we ordered our drinks and food to get our cocktails and another 20 mins after that to get our food. The patio seating was really comfortable, the music and lighting were perfect.

Brix Tavern just opened this last week so my expectations were a little low since I know how things can go as a restaurant is getting off the ground. I was pleasantly surprised by everything at Brix during our first experience.

Great brunch! Food was awesome, you can do half or full portions for many of their options. They also offer lunch dishes if you dont want breakfast. They serve brunch til 245 usually. The seating was comfortable and they have lots of food options to suit vegetarians etc. Didnt have to wait for a table and we didn’t wait long for our food. They also have lots of fun drinks and you can get bottomless mimosas! I got the reg Benedict and it was awesome!

First time visiting Brix Tavern last night and here is my experience. We made a reservation since it was during dinner time on a Saturday and there were four of us dining. We got sat as soon as we got there. Our waitress was so sweet and attentive. We ordered the beat salmon salad, truffle Mac and cheese, Brix stuffed chicken, and the Alaskan cod and shrimp cakes. It was all so delicious!! The flavor of the Mac truffle and the sauce the put on the stuffed chicken was on point! There was a bit of a mishap with my stuffed chicken but they were quick to fix it and even comped my meal even after I said it wasn’t necessary. Over all we really enjoyed all the food and service. We will definitely be back to try more dishes.

Service was slow at first, better towards the end. Most of the food was mediocre and bland. Really good fries and mac and cheese. Took an hour to get our food. Bloody Mary was bland as well. Cool atmosphere!

I was unimpressed with this restaurant. It wasn’t terrible, but it was below average. It’s very very cold inside so if you decide to try this place, definitely bring a sweater. We ordered the cheddar fondue, the turkey club and the chicken cobb.

This is the Ole Gustovs restaurant. The menu has changed. But not much else. It’s definitely more busy. I’m sure it will do well. They just need to get everyone trained. Pulled pork needs some seasoning, it’s very bland.
