We were so happy we were able to get in on a last minute Friday night reservation!! Thank You. Although the staff was friendly, we were very disappointed with the rest of our stay. First of all, there was no air conditioning …it was a rainy hot humid day with the door open, made for a very humid, LOUD atmosphere dinner in a busy dining room with no acoustics. The escargot were tasty but not a great presentation. The Saffron certainly overpowered the Bass …I could not taste anything else. The Chicken was mediocre but overpriced! I’m hoping to come back again when the “kinks get ironed out”? ⭐️⭐️

The best cuisine in Red Hook/Rhinebeck. We’ve been going to Brigitte for a couple of years now and they never disappoint. The food is just at another level – the freshness, flavors and overall presentation. Our favorite classics are the duck breast, branzino, salmon and lamb chops, but honestly, everything is great!

We just returned from having dinner at Brigitte Bistro and wow, just wow! It was HV Restaurant Week; we didn’t know that. We did order from the restaurant week menu and it was fantastic. We started with crab cakes; quite possibly the best crab cakes we have ever had. Our appetizer was followed by our entrees; salmon and risotto and we shared each. Again, both entrees were perfection. We decided to take dessert home; a smooth and light chocolate mousse with strawberries. Can’t say enough how much we enjoyed our dining experience tonight. The best restaurant in Rhinebeck is in Red Hook. Brigitte Bistro is not to be missed. We are already talking about when we will be going back to Brigitte Bistro!

Perhaps the best chicken experience in my life. I wanted to meet the chef just to congratulate him. The vibe is beautifully open and friendly. Staff was top notch. Support this place and go eat here! We need it.

Fantastic & delicious food! Loved my escargot, roasted duck and herbed tender chicken. Service was great too with Ashley being an attentive waitress. Even accommodated a sazerac which wasn’t even on the menu.

Alain Urbini is the consummate host , his chef Brian is a grandmaster. Staff are very kind, gracious and working their heart out. There have been staffing issues in the last year but this establishment is not alone, life in the Hudson Valley restaurant business.

New Year’s Eve Prix-fix dinner.. Big group the lamb chops were the fav but the filet-mignon was a close second. They ran out of the filet-mignon so I had a skirt steak. It was cooked perfectly med- rare. It was good but not great. I didn’t care for the sides but the majority of the group seemed to enjoy everything on their plates. Crab cakes were as good as we’ve eaten in Maryland (a bit salty for me) The mousse and crème caramel were big hits. Three of us had the napoleon. It was very different from any we’ve ever had before. Perhaps its a regional recipe; not fans.

Really nice ambience, great service, enjoyable wine selection. 5 stars for the guests that are meat eaters, 4 for the plant-based folks. Had a pretty soggy plate of steamed veggies as the veg entree, which felt more like a side at best. Would love to see something more thoughtful for those that don’t eat meat.
