In My Horrible Opinion
We had a late lunch & shared the sandwich. We didn’t wait too long between ordering & eating, maybe 5 minutes. It was good. That was our only meal there and it hit on several good points – friendly staff, got our food relatively quickly, and the food tasted good.

Pizza was good, salad bar okay, beer and wings were great! Way overpriced for what we got. Service was so so, the table was not very clean, dead fly left behind. And they didn’t have milkshakes available.

I like that it’s no frills, and an easy place to grab some food when everyone else has a 1 hour wait for a table. Pizza was pretty good. But inside the restaurant was really hot. I think they need a better vent system for the ovens or something.

The food was not very good. We had the turkey club & and grilled chicken. The focaccia bread and meats we so dry. The person who took our order was nice but that was the only interaction we had with the staff.

To be fair we didn’t try the pizza but the rest of it was TRASH! Cashier can’t follow simple instructions and the food was so bad we ate very little and left. Now I understand why all the other spots we’re so busy and this place had very few ppl.. 60.00+ for 4 ppl ( burger and chicken strip orders ) price is fair if the food is decent but that definitely wasn’t the case. Had to spend more $$ to eat down the street! Growlers you definitely earned your name, our stomachs we’re growling when we left!!

After ordering our food we waited exactly 1 hour for our food. We weren’t the only ones checking in for an ETA because no one told us anything or were providing updates. They are a no tipping facility with signs posted that they do not accept tips because they pay their staff a wage. I felt like this method was possibly a detriment vs a bonus for them because the staff just didn’t seem to care that we had waited one hour after placing our order except for one gentleman who gave us extra sausage in a bowl after they forgot to put it on the pizza we ordered. When we asked about the wait time they had responded with that they were waiting on a grill which from what we gathered was room to cook the 2 burgers we ordered. We had 2 adults and 4 kids and our bill was just under 80 dollars… with the hour and 15 minute total wait that was unexpected because there were many open tables I wouldn’t recommend this place. The fries were really good though so order those if you do go. They did have a help wanted sign so maybe with more staff it could be better but with the no updates and even one staff having to pull out her airpods of her ear when we tried to get help with our wrong made order that we had waited so long for it overall left us all feeling like we were a burden vs customers and we were disappointed.

We had been to McCall many times but never to Growlers! We’ve been missing out! The food was excellent and served much faster than I was expecting! The customer service was excellent too! We will definitely be going back when we visit McCall again! Thanks guy!

They rang my bill up wrong then couldn’t figure out how to refund the mistake. Had to refund the whole bill and order again. Took forever. Then we waited 45 minutes for a pizza and a sandwich. Pizza was ok. The sandwich was dry and skimpy with beef.
