We ate at Brabo 2 years ago for restaurant week and had a great experience, so we decided to come back for 2023 summer restaurant week. It did not disappoint! Service was excellent (a rarity these days), and every course was delicious. They paced it well and checked in often on the food and quality. We had the octopus, heirloom tomato salad, mussels, salmon, and two yummy desserts. Looking forward to returning to Brabo again soon!

Overall great service and food. Had the special of the night and loved the seafood pasta. I got to try a friend’s wagyu burger and that was delicious but a little overcooked. I don’t drink wine but they seem to have a good selection of wines to pair up with your food.

We went for Alexandria Restaurant Week, the atmosphere was really nice, simple but elegant, lovely and calm.

Delicious food! The mussels were a bit spicy, but love them. The croquettes spume was very interesting. The short rib and the lamb chops were cooked to perfection. That lamb almost melted in your mouth. The bar area looked more interesting than the dining area. The dining area feels a bit sterile, needs a bit more.of ambiance and the chairs.of.the table are a bit low. If you are not very tall sit in the tables with the regular chairs.

This place has been on my list to visit for a while and to be honest was a bit disappointed. We made a Resy for dinner but once we were sat and realized the ambiance was off we just grabbed a snack and drink and headed out. Not impressed with the service, seemed really unorganized and unprofessional, drinks were forgotten and late, charcuterie board definitely needed a fruit, pickle, or mustard accoutrements. No music and bad acoustics, overall unimpressed and likely will not be back sadly.

Looking for a great place to eat and this hit the bulls eye! Excellent drinks, made an excellent ‘mocktail’ then had a meat/cheese board and pork patte’. The mussels and scallops were cooked perfectly and wrapped it up in a big way with the creme’ brûlée; also took a few macaroons home to go :-). A++!

We came in for lunch. The server offered us to sit in the «patio», I ordered a kale salad with Shrimp and I received a take away box with plastic silverware for 24USD.

We went for restaurant week, and it was definitely a good deal! One of our meals was better than the other, but overall no complaints. They were out of a few of the wines we wanted, but the wine selection was fabulous! We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the staff were all wonderful and extremely nice! We’ll definitely be back!

Kristin was a warm and wonderful server, and Wilbur the bartender’s drinks were the best we ever had!! Highly recommend the “unnamed” blackberry cocktail. May we humbly suggest the drink name “Will They/Won’t They” 🙂
