Delicious. I have never had Cajun food so I’m sure some people will discount my review but I was looking for something new and different. I had a shrimp po’boy, hubby got the fried chicken and kiddo got the cheese burger. The shrimp breading was just to my liking; thin and perfectly spiced. There were a lot more shrimp on there than I expected, which was good; you’d never get that much at a seafood restaurant for the same price. The bun it was on was great, soft on the inside and slightly grilled to create a great crunch to the flaky outside. The fried chicken was also lightly breaded with great spices. The portion was just right and the accompanying fries were spiced just right. The kids cheeseburger was huge but they provided a go box. The cleanliness was lacking a little, that could be due to the age of the building and the rain but the floors looked like they hadn’t been mopped in a few days and the grill on the soda machine looked as if too hadn’t been cleaned in a few days. I didn’t use the restrooms so no comment there. The staff was clean, kind, interested and friendly. I recommend this place to anyone looking for something good, something new or something different.

Absolutely delicious! A little gem worth the drive to Salem. Cajun lovers will rejoice there’s a kitchen in Utah that can cook great Louisiana food. Best fried chicken (juicy & tender on the inside, great crunch on the outside). And where else can you find GENUINE hushpuppies!! Love this place!

We went in and tried their Shrimp Po Boy (smothered), Chicken Po Boy, fries and fried pickles. It was so yummy! We will definitely be returning. The menu is super authentic. I want to try the jambalaya and beignets. I’ve heard they’re awesome!

This place is disgusting. My wife and I decided to eat there because of the reviews and we love food with flavor and thought this would have a ton of flavor.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Utah! True Cajun food straight from the Bayou and quality that can’t be beat. They are a small family run joint and off the beaten path to say the least, so I always recommend calling ahead or checking Facebook before driving all the way out there just in case they are closed, but their poboys, jambalaya, etouffee and beignets are all unbeatable. I always make it a point to go out wherever I’m in the area and will often make a special trip they are that good. My favorite poboys are the roast beef and the fried shrimp smothered in etouffee sauce. They also do special crawfish boils and Mardi Gras Parties.

Food was WAY too salty. We had gumbo, fried seafood platter, fried pickles & beignets. The beignets were good. Everything else was way over-salted. They need to taste their own food. Also, shrimp in gumbo & on platter was the pre-cooked kind (kind of rubbery), and chicken in gumbo was overcooked. Catfish on platter was overcooked as well. I wanted to like this place, but we could not finish our food because it was like eating spoonfuls of salt.

Their Yelp hours says they close at 9pm so we drove to Salem all the way from American fork with my in-laws and our kid and arrived to the place at 8:33 – I opened the door, the lady immediately told us they are close since they close at 8:30 so we were 3 minutes late. I told them their Yelp page shows 9pm and they have two doors one of them says OPEN in the sign.

Me and my husband absolutely love this place! It’s worth the 45 min drive from slc. My husband can’t get enough of their fried chicken and authentic Louisiana hot sauces.

We absolutely love this place! Delicious and authentic Cajun food is hard to find, and this restaurant nails it. Plus we love supporting local family businesses.

Have to give benefit of doubt about being in business so 3 stars for showing up for their hobby 🙂 What exactly are the hours of operation at this place, I know the food is good but catching them open is a gamble, even during posted hours…I would call ahead and verify that someone is there.. Just sayin…
