The only authentic Ethiopian cuisine in Cincinnati. Expect to pay about $50 for two people. Have a look at my pictures; we ordered three sets this time. They used to have different options when you chose different ingredients, and they would calculate the price later. It was still about $50-$60. Very delicious. I didn’t like the lentil part; it had an old oil taste, but it was still good.
A clean place, could be better. Definitely need some deep cleaning and some good styling.

Great little family operated Ethiopian spot on the west side! We stopped in on a Tuesday around six. I ordered the Doro Wot (chicken stew with a boiled egg), while my wife got the Lega Tibs with beef (a yummy dish with veggies and turmeric). Both were served traditional (family) style on injera – and both were very tasty. The food took a little time to come out, but as they say – good things come to those who wait. When we got there we were the only patrons, but by the time we left the place was getting busy. We’ll be back.

No frills Ethiopian restaurant. Of the many Ethiopian restaurants I’ve been to; this one had very little options. No sambusas, no honey wine, and few options for the platter. Though the options are few; they were still delicious. I got a vegan/ vegetarian platter and all of the items were tasty.

My boyfriend and I have been coming here since we moved to the city. The food is consistently delicious. We get the doro wot, awaze tibs, and yesom beyaynetu, and we are always satisfied with it. The food is so good, and the enjera soaked with all the flavor is a delicious way to end the meal. I recommend anyone stop by

I’m disappointed because I was super excited to support a small family business. BUT I was charged 20.79$ when I ordered a dish for 13.99 and a drink for 1.99 and there’s no way the rest was tax. It was also a to go order. Really disappointed. And the vegan dish barely had filling in it mostly just the injera bread.

The food was excellent. I had the lega tibs, my daughters had the vegan platter, and my husband had the derek tibs. We loved everything. This was the best injera we have ever had. The atmosphere could use some TLC but the food and service made up for it.

This is a great little spot to try some authentic, homemade Ethiopian food!

Everything we had was absolutely delicious, and the server was fantastic!

It’s definitely a smaller business, and their menus could use a touch up and some translations, but the server was more than happy to help us out.

This is my first time experiencing Ethiopian food and it’s really delicious. I got the vegetarian platter plate posted in the pictures below. They got lot of vegetables lentils red lentils cabbage and what seemed like a pancake is really delicious. I could barely finish and I’m already full value for money.

I gave 3 stars for service and atmosphere but 1 star overall because I came to eat and this was by far the WORST food I’ve ever paid for. Just look at my picture. I ordered the doro wot and that was ALL I got for $16 (I spent $19 because I tipped before checking). ONE chicken leg and ONE egg in sauce and a bunch of injera. And it tasted like trash. I don’t usually like talking bad about small businesses and maybe I just went on the wrong day or something but I had to at least warn us regular people that work hard to go out and eat every once in a while.

The owner went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. My son was doing a project for school and he needed an Ethiopian dish. She fixed us a sample plate, free of charge, and customized the dishes to our needs. Best service hands-down. We were so appreciative of her help.
